Harris onto comparing NI again, painful
Hilagarde checking SF website for alternative facts 🙄
Hilagarde"s being doing a lost of costings whilst not paying attention to her own Brief, comparing SF to two muppet characters 🙄
Is the motion 'this house has no confidence in The Shinners'. Shouldn't the government be singing their own praises here...maybe they can't?
Didn't get who that last clown was on the Government benches 🤔
I am allergic to Cullinane but that's some list of FFG disasters he has.
Not sure what country you are living in, ireland life expectancy is higher than ever, we have just come out of covid and one of the better performing countries
we are an international hub for IT companies with a huge concentration of companies that is the envy of the world. The list goes on for all the great things that Rep of ireland has accomplished
I travelled the World and I can tell you it ain’t all sunshine in other countries. I suggest you try it. Also if you hate the country so much it’s not good for your health and move on.
As I always say Ireland has problem and we are trying to fix them but so has very country. I love living in Ireland….if you want to slag it off then head off somewhere else .
Yep, notice the heckling 😉
Stephen Donnelly doodling on his phone, great look that
You must be thinking of this. When last in opposition Fine Gael raised 3 no confidence motions in 3 years, yet when SF do it it's a "stunt"! The arrogance of FFG is off the charts. What opposition party wouldn't raise a no confidence motion once the gov loses it's majority!?
Won't somebody please think of the children.
Simon Coveney claiming its a cynical stunt in order to raise the profile of SF, clearly he's not seen recent polls 🙄
But if they keep talking about it they don't have to engage about anything else. It's their game.
"We only did it, because they did it."
Good Jesus.
What about the use of the term Mob to describe those who oppose the current government.
Fire off a missive to your local TD and CC everyone in government on it! The first government motion of confidence was in 1927 and then nothing until the 50s. Dozens since then.
Govt supporters will tell you they were Barack Obama; SF supporters will say they were George W. Bush. No such thing as an impartial verdict on anything in a CA thread...
Which is it?
Is it a standard response or is it because they're just copying SF?
If the big issue was time wasting then surely they can just keep the current time table?
McEntee says 'the MONC was never going to succeed'.
She's right, the government just found more money down the back of the sofa and went out and bought support.
It's a very standard government response to opposition motions of no confidence.
Unsurprisingly you missed the point. What are the chances.
No, you asked a question and I answered about the history of such motions in response to opposition votes of no confidence. Clearly whatever point you want to make was badly made. If there is something else you want to share please elaborate. Or not.
Yeah just read the dail debates which you can read them all on the oireachtas website and it’s what any government has done.
No such thing as an impartial verdict on anything in a CA thread…
Very good point actually. I mean you never know I suppose.
The Louth accent isn’t a pleasant one or at least the version that Peter Fitzpatrick us from.
I heard a clip of MM's. He was doing the usual "but SF ...something something". Sure its worked so far.......
How much did the taxpayer shell out for that gem?
Some amount of phone checking going on to see what way the winds of socialmedia was blowing.
Well has it worked. The poll numbers( I know) would suggest it’s not working, but maybe it’s helping his individual polling numbers.
I don’t think Peader Tobin knows what nepotism means from his speech.
Eamonn Ryan is awake and apparently was listening the other speeches. That’s a plus.
100% correct
