And again
This looks like it was a major blast. Lots of stuff and videos about it on social media this evening.
Fascinating account of pro Russian bloggers suddenly realising the affect of HIMARS https://t.co/b4acgViLT1
What's effective about these things is apparently their accuracy - they can land to within centimetres of where they were sent (hence all the chaos on the receiving end).
Not started yet-
I have seen something about the burgers having blue mold on them…I’ll take a look and see if I can find it again.

EUphile: OMG you mentioned the EU, you're ranting!!
Then immediately goes off on one about Brexit and Irexit, which nobody mentioned. You're a quare bunch 😂
They have a hugely demoralising effect. Russia had a 'purple patch' using WW2-style indiscriminate artillery with rusting Soviet platforms. Now that's negated, and with around only 10 mobile HIMARS units on the go. Once targets are accurately identified by the eyes in the sky, it's as easy as ordering an Uber. Ivan completely vapourized. And they have nothing to stop it despite mad sh*t talk about their anti missile defence.
If Ukraine was feeling particularly bold, they could easily target logistics choke points over the Russian border. I suspect that the US aren't feeding them that targetting info for now and are still playing by Queensbury rules.
Some are saying it was a nitrate warehouse.
Some Russian trolls are saying it was a nitrite warehouse.
Great to see russian logistics, command and no doubt other stuff get the HIMARS treatment
That blast in Kherson tonight appears to have been huge. People estimate this video was filmed from about five miles away :
Not HIMAR related 😔
But a nice quick video recap from Covert Shores on the battle for Snake Island
and for your more 'box set' binge viewers out there, Perun - the Australian Defence Analyst goes into the current Artillery battle that's taking place in the Donbas and how the Russian doctrine of 'more quantity less quality' in their shelling offensive will come to bite them in the long run . . .
About 4.6 miles to be precise. After seeing a flash of lightning, every 5 seconds you count until you hear thunder is 1 mile. Every 3 seconds is 1km.
Mother Russia getting desperate
Video below this tweet. They’re warped
Discussion about the Kakhovka attack. Seems to be an ammo store alright. There are multiple explosions in this video-
Leonid ХВ Ragozin on Twitter: "Purportedly video of the occupied Nova Kakhovka in the aftermath of the Ukrainian strike on a Russian ammunition store. https://t.co/xGJDOZyCuS" / Twitter
Not good news about Iran. we are outnumbered by evil crazy dictators.
For what? They are already sanctioned.
I know. if they help Russia they should be destroyed.
At Pivdenny Buh direction Russian army shelled Stepova Dolyna, Lupareve, Nova Zoria, Novohryhorivka, Lyubomyrivka, Osokorivka, Olhyne, Velyka Kostromka, Karyerne, Ternivka, Poliana, Kyselivka, Pervomaiske, Schevchenkove, Posad-Pokrovske, Ukrainka and Prybuzke. Russian aviation conducted airstrike near Zarichne, - General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine says in the morning report
I would not overly worry about Iran, they are just posturing before getting some talks of some kind with the US. remember not long ago [two weeks] they were willing to help with oil production to ease oil prices and even offered to counter what Russia offered to the markets. talks wise, something along the lines off, 'if you do not help us we will help Russia' Iran has too much to lose by irritating the US too much. a reduction in sanctions would be their game I think. Hard-liners in the US would of course talk up Iran's threat as they have Isreal to think of. If Iran did offer to sell stuff to Russia it would be an easy take-out for air strikes. Also, some air defence systems might like to test themselves against what Iran has to offer.
So, so toucy over Glorious Leader Merkels fall from grace. Merkel and the EU were told repeatedly what the consequences of their reliance on Russian gas would be yet they carried on and you want to pat them on the back, even as they lobbied Canada to drop their restrictions and give the Russians back their Nord stream turbine 😂
Just goes to show that some leopards never change their spots, two reformed Marxists as German Chancellor with Russia as the benefactor. And who's running the European Commission? An incompetent picked by Merkel.
Absolute shitshow and Zelensky jusitifiably furious about the turbine shenanigans from Germany.
Jesus, you're tiresome
Explosion and fire reported in Enerhodar
The Iran, Russia and Saudi dynamic is interesting
Russia is selling at steep discounts (they have no choice being pariahs), this recently led to Iran also having to sell below market, all of this is being bought by China and India which means Saudi and opec are losing market share
Saudi is going to crank up the taps not only because it’s enemy is undercutting it but US frackers are having a boom and their market share in China is falling
TL.dr oil prices will fall rapidly, I remain a master stategist 🤣
OPEC have said they cannot increase production by more than a few 100k this year, they cant come close to making up the difference from Russia in the short term. Saudi may want to crank up the taps, but they cant significantly.
They are more than happy to price gouge Europe and the rest also, seeing as we are committed to weaning off Russian oil. Saudi can make more money selling less oil, why would they pump more and push prices down
What can I say?-
Yes Saudis are totally going to sit back and say “this is fine” as their most lucrative market that is China and India are taken over by their arch enemy (Iran) and frenemy (Russia) while losing US market completely to frackers and EU market to alternatives
