The quote was for fitting only as I buy the charger from Tesla, so I can buy either generation once in stock.
The wallbox quote above includes the charger
Wow that’s mad expensive then! They seen you coming and <insert every other rip off joke here>
The price I posted above was supply and fit of a better charger than any of the Tesla chargers including the Gen 3.
I was just reading that there is an app update which would allow to add and control the gen3 charger. Maybe is worth the difference.
Sure you can already do that within the car app. Start charging, stop charging, reduce the charging rate etc
No, it's cheaper. I was quoted 1200 for non Tesla and 1150 for Tesla. All in.
My dad is going through the same process, awaiting a quote for tails upgrade. No idea of cost yet.
You said the quote was for fitting only?
for €50 I’d buy the wallbox. It’s a better charger.
Changed again: Estimated delivery: Sep - Nov 2022
🤷♂️
Seems like these will be the new version of the a4/3 series from a few years ago in terms of numbers on the road? Will take a couple of years but the popularity seems to be rising and there are loads in the uk and especially America already.
Still the same for me
M3 RWD/MSM/Black/18 Aero/No FSD/Dublin, Ireland
OD April16 2022/ EDD Aug 15 - Sep 14
No change for my EDD, still Aug 15 - Sep 14. What model did you order?
Same here, no VIN in source code yet either.
Blue/RWD/Aero
Performance, Blue with black interior
Has Tesla changed over to a lithium 12v battery in the Model 3?
Yes, in the base rwd at least
Quite an inflated price market now for SH Model 3s in Ireland. Prices start (barring fake ads and outliers) at 54,000 EUR on DD and Carzone. In contrast, they start at 44k in Spain including some LR models (segundamano.es), and at 39k in France (lhttps://www.leboncoin.fr/recherche?category=2&sort=price&order=asc&brand=Tesla&model=Model%203) including LRs, and at 43k in the Netherlands (https://www.marktplaats.nl/l/auto-s/tesla/f/model-3/11736/#sortBy:PRICE|sortOrder:INCREASING).
Even allowing for our small island market and the big readjustment of being cut off from the GB market, that means demand here is through the roof and will probably continue to peak for a while yet until it calms down. A year ago, you could get Model 3s from 43k and up. So, if anyone is thinking of getting one for less than new, now is probably not that time unless you are in a rush.
Anyone that's bought one on HP, how do you pay Tesla your down payment, just a Standard bank wire?
I went to the branch and did the transfer as AIB has a daily limit of 5k on online payments and didn't want to spread it to a week.
Have an order on a blue RWD M3
decided to move since my EV6 GTLine order fell through
aug-sept EDD
What’s the relative depreciated cost?
Are they cheaper to buy in Spain and France in the first place?
Don't know but base RWD costs 53,490 EUR in France and just under 52k EUR in Spain and Netherlands. I presume inclusive of grants. I guess works out about 8-10k more at least for buying SH in our small RHD market. Would need prices charted over time to compare better plus number of genuine cars on market.
Nice spec choice (same for me).
Has anyone heard anything more concrete about the M3 deliveries that are showing EDD's "Aug 15th to September 14th" . I am still finding it a struggle to believe this is accurate for orders placed in last 2 weeks....
I've asked a few questions along these lines to deliveryie@tesla.com. But received no reply for days now. I ordered back in April, an MSM, 19", White Interior.
The text said August - September but my EDD has been firm on just "August". No idea what to think. But would be good to know since i need to sell my car beforehand.
Was it a phone line or another mail address you used?
Thanks
Expect a major delivery in the last 2 weeks of September.
Thats fair enough. Might sleuth through my email inbox to see if I have a similar email to reply to! :D
I have someone calling to my house tomorrow to survey what is required exactly, so once I know more I'll post here.
I have a survey booked in for Thursday morning
The cheapest I've been quoted is €1299 for the Ohme Home Pro 2 (including installation directly from meter). Less the grant which I've been approved for works out at €699
Just off the phone with a very friendly representative of Tesla there. Few points she made:
While obviously she can't guarantee any timelines she did say that people who have ordered some months ago should be on track to receive a VIN in the coming week or 2. So anyone who ordered a while ago and got the Aug-Sep SMS should be in this category. Shes not sure about more recent orders as they're subject to filling the spec of car based on availability, cancellations etc.... So these could be more changeable. Again no guarantees, take everything she/I say with grain of salt.
The car comes with a granny charging cable. She seemed confident on this one.
Anyways.....
