It's delicious and I confess to be delighted 😁
Govt on 82 without the Provisional Greens.
Should the Greens walk now? Wonder what their voters think of them? Not a great day really all round for them.
They would lose most of their seats if there was a GE any time soon, but that's more about SF swallowing the entire left/progressive voter than about anything they've done or not done in government.
Tomorrow we will be getting more spin than a Bosch tumble drier.
I might tweet a few Green TD'S and thank them for back tracking, U turning on Turf 😁
I think there still could be a few surprises tomorrow 🤔
Josepha Madigan claiming on the Tonight Show that an election now will cost the country €20M. Pull the other one.
You know things are bad when Josepha and Pippa sent out to Bat 😉
Josepha getting owned on stuff she should know.
Very dangerous for FF/FG to mess with unpredictable true believers. It would be some laugh if, after all the machinations with Independents, the Greens decide to vote against the government and walk. No wonder FF/FG are scared of a GE. :)
Regards...jmcc
Love it 😁
I wager the FFFG types had no issue with the no confidence motions in the UK parliament. 🤣
I really think there'll be a surprise, maybe not enough to defeat government but I've no doubt, Some greens will be Livid over the Backflip on Turf 😉
Don't forget the last time the Greens were in government they walked before a full term.
I think this time they are thinking more about the loss of two years ministerial salaries 😉
We've no money again
Is the 20m in relation to salaries and pensions ? I would agree that is a huge waste of money with a Gov not fit for purpose.
That's the danger with true believers. They are not tame like the Greens with ministerial seats and will do whtat they think is the right thing. It would be a bit of a shock if the government fell by accident but this might not be the time for that. Don't forget that there was a coup attempt a few years ago against Eamon Ryan. Some of those split to form the Green Left party but some stayed in the Greens.
Ahh this is what we call “debating” on the government thread. Calling people doing a job “cockroaches”
prob a little better than saying this.
🤔
A video from 15 years ago? 🤦♂️
Odd is there a cut off point to say it never happened or something ? Bailout happened in what 2008 People love to bring that up. 🤔
I haven idea as she did not specify and it was not followed up by the interviewer.
Odd a poster calls TD “cockroaches” and you seem to be very interested in defending them??
Im sure the poster is able to explain themselves…
Deflection the ? donates a Question that has not been answered.
Soon elections will be classified as "populist" by FF/FG.....
Is that what you think you are doing?
Are you trying to tell me that you tried to start (and god forbid - continue) a debate? Was that what your emoji's were about?
If you have a point to make, make it. If you have something worth saying say it. If you accuse me of lying, point it out. I cannot be clearer than that.
If FFGG think they can 'fix' the housing crisis, fix it. NO. MORE. EXCUSES.
It's funny how much your signature applies to you and FFGG.
A bad job.
So you chimed in to tackle the person posting again. I'm shocked.
I am likening their behaviour to cockroaches. I thought it was pretty clear? Are you trying for the moral outrage here? Good luck with that after repeatedly calling everyone racists.
And there's an example.
Attempting to force absolutely unnecessary ones in this way are and always will be populist. There will be one when the time is right but that is not 2 years after the current incumbents came into power, in the middle of some very difficult challenges.
If SF were on 25% support it's doubtful we would be seeing this silly drama tonight. Winning seats is the easy part, forming governments takes serious work and time. SF felt they were an option but spent their time complaining that nobody wanted to play with them. Will they play better next time?
