It's all falling apart alarmingly fast for Boris Johnson across the water. How long you reckon he has left as British Prime Minister? Hours surely?
How many parties are they talking about now? I've lost count.

Not a chance.
This Conservative government will remain in power until December 2024, and was voted with an 80-seat majority to Get Brexit Done.
Second, even Keir Starmer announced earlier this week that Brexit will not be reversed under his leadership. He wants to make Brexit work. ("Make Brexit Work" should be one of his campaign slogans).
So the UK has moved on from this debate.
Extremist remainer voices are just that, a tiny fringe minority.
Lol , the honorable member for the Dark ages , Jacob Rees-Mogg just asked for his opinion.
"PRIME MINISTER HAS MY FULL SUPPORT "
🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you mean on hard Brexit maybe but not on Brexit its self.
Not unprecedented but isn't considered acceptable these days, though acceptable is now a relative term given what has just happened..
When Douglas-Home became PM they found him a commons seat pretty quickly.
It back fired, half the conservative party hated Gove and now it has garnered sympathy for him.
Boris nailing it as usual.
Sound like it, saving their skin for the next GE, so they can say they resigned on the doorstep to their potential voters
Kay Burley taking to Michael Heseltine, hard to believe he's 89 .
She's referring to him as my Lord , christ she's some Twat
How could anyone have thought otherwise?
My only theory is that this was just a sop to Boris to get him out today and that they fully intend to drop the hammer on Monday once the new 1922 committee is in place.
Anything else just reeks of utter delusion.
I wonder if they'll roll back on Brexit now that BoJo is gone
Sunak was popular with the Tory membership, but a billionaire will not be popular among the wider electorate in a world of tightened belts.
Baker might just be unknown enough to rise above those with sht all over them.
As for "best candidate" what makes you think the Tories will or capable of picking the best candidate.
That or someone like Ken Clarke/William Hague , although I'm not sure about someone from the Lords acting in that role.
Has to be someone with a bit of standing and who is completely and totally out of the running for the full time gig.
Looking like the plan to Keep Boris in situ until October, seriously back firing.
I think everyone is hoping they bring back Theresa May for a few weeks.
Gavan Riley's job is watching BBC News and Sky News all day and tweeting what they say. If you want to follow developments.
Are you just out of bed 😂😂 only kidding 😏
The money is pouring on Steve Baker.
But Risni Sunak is probably the best candidate if Britain wants a real leader. He has absolutely no need for the financial benefits and comes across well and is a strong leader.
Truss please...she would be an unmitigated disaster!
Sky reporting he's gone

60 resignations now, got to wonder at this stage are people just running for cover now 🤔
Whilst possibly and unfortunately true re Tory sentiment about voting in an Asian PM and Gove seriously odd at the best of times, like or Loath him, he's ruthless, knows his brief, not easily phased, especially by Journalists or opposition.
Whomever it is, the Tories need someone who actually knows what they are Doing and Truss struggles to work out what day it is.
And do you think that might work ?
I just see this as an effort to buy time and get the cabinet back in place and eventually win them over.
I'm glad too but not for the same reasons as you, Boris has infact improved Goves standing, Gove is as unpalatable as Boris but actually has for a second time shown what a spineless, petulance child Boris is.
Curious Boris didn't sack far more Treacherous clowns 🤔
Politics is fickle and vain. I can't see a man who looks and sounds like Give being PM. He is just too weird an individual.
Can't see the Tory voters being ready for an Asian PM either so that leaves Truss for me.
Good news is they are all terrible choices.
It will be a disaster, not even 10.15am and reactions to him staying anywhere near no 10 swift and brutal.
Until Autumn. This is what they came up with overnight. It's another dead cat. Absolutely ridiculous and not in the best interests whatsoever.
I think the full membership only votes when it’s down to two. It’s whittled down to that by MPs relatively quickly. Those final two then do a full national campaign, which is the bit that takes a while
what I think will happen is that Boris will stay but that the 1922 committee will expedite that process
I'm glad Johnson stabbed Gove in the back at the last minute.
After what Gove did to Johnson in 2016, I think a little payback, however symbolic, was justified.
Ben Wallace has been very Quite actually, certainly a strong possibility.
I'm still thinking Gove in with a strong chance.
Can't believe Truss has such strong odds.
I just can't see anyone connected to Boris, resignation or not has a Hope, I say Gove only because he's been very Cunning to date, almost daring Boris to sack him
