It's all falling apart alarmingly fast for Boris Johnson across the water. How long you reckon he has left as British Prime Minister? Hours surely?
How many parties are they talking about now? I've lost count.

Adam Bolton on Sky talking to the ghastly Kay Burley now.
Imagine the stunts and buffoonery Johnson will pull over the Summer to try put a positive spin on his reign, either that or spiteful sabotage of process.
I'd say all the wall paper is being stripped from the apartment, so people never get to see what the money was spent on
Its also standard practice that the last 48 hours didn't happen with any other PM. Many conservative pundits also saying now he should go and leave Raab or May as the caretaker due to how much chaos he has caused in the last 48 hours.
I totally agree but unfortunely our politicians did not acknowledge that when the negotiation were going on with EU we seemed a bit indifferent as we were in the EU and Brexit was a UK problem. We wanted to protect GFA and keep an open border on the Island. I was surprised that UK allowed the sea border at the time but it became clear later they had a different agenda.
Larry and friends have reacted
Allowing him to stay on while they elect a new leader is just beyond mental.
Plenty of Tory MPs saying he should go today as his behaviour is increasingly erratic and that he is a danger in office
This is down to the 1922 committee now I guess
Tensions growing about Boris staying on in a care taker role, Boris has only ever taken care of himself.
Kerr starmers statement, Vicious, pity he hasn't more B***S at PMQ"s
He is going to resign by looks of it finally....long overdue!
Which muppet will be the new leader?
Sunak? Javid?
I never met a politician yet who cared for anyone but themselves, it's the same everywhere.
I’d go for Ben Wallace. Seems to be a straightforward, intelligent, relatively middle-of-the-road guy.
i think he’s impressed in defence
I'd be surprised, both Damaged, Those who supported Boris right up to end Damaged, Even the treacherous lot appointed by him two days ago Damaged goods.
I still think Gove a likely successor, there's so many high profile people damaged, hard to know who has the credibility or integrity left to take over, it's a shambles.
A great day for the Irish media.
Agreed but Boris not even Subtle
Some remaining cabinet members now concerned about Boris staying until October, No S**T
Just junkies gambling on the action, any action will do.
Resignation clock still going, now 59 😳
Sky Bet odds for the next Tory leader:
That said, there have been many Tory leaders elected who sprang into the contest from nowhere and won; Thatcher, Major, and Ian Duncan Smith, to name a few.
Reports The Great Pretender is going this morning. Brace yourself for Tory Unity speeches and praise “for all that he accomplished”. In reality watch to see what positions he gets (no power but lots of dosh). The man has many mouths to feed.
All the members will participate in it , about 100,000 of them and there will very likely be multiple rounds.
They just can't allow that.
He'll be handing out seats in the Lords and Government contracts like confetti.
How can they say "we are removing him for being a lying, cheating POS , but we are leaving him in charge for the next 3/4 months while we fight among ourselves"!!!
Ben Wallace has been very Quite actually, certainly a strong possibility.
I'm still thinking Gove in with a strong chance.
Can't believe Truss has such strong odds.
I just can't see anyone connected to Boris, resignation or not has a Hope, I say Gove only because he's been very Cunning to date, almost daring Boris to sack him
I'm glad Johnson stabbed Gove in the back at the last minute.
After what Gove did to Johnson in 2016, I think a little payback, however symbolic, was justified.
I think the full membership only votes when it’s down to two. It’s whittled down to that by MPs relatively quickly. Those final two then do a full national campaign, which is the bit that takes a while
what I think will happen is that Boris will stay but that the 1922 committee will expedite that process
Until Autumn. This is what they came up with overnight. It's another dead cat. Absolutely ridiculous and not in the best interests whatsoever.
It will be a disaster, not even 10.15am and reactions to him staying anywhere near no 10 swift and brutal.
Politics is fickle and vain. I can't see a man who looks and sounds like Give being PM. He is just too weird an individual.
Can't see the Tory voters being ready for an Asian PM either so that leaves Truss for me.
Good news is they are all terrible choices.
I'm glad too but not for the same reasons as you, Boris has infact improved Goves standing, Gove is as unpalatable as Boris but actually has for a second time shown what a spineless, petulance child Boris is.
Curious Boris didn't sack far more Treacherous clowns 🤔
I just see this as an effort to buy time and get the cabinet back in place and eventually win them over.
