It's all falling apart alarmingly fast for Boris Johnson across the water. How long you reckon he has left as British Prime Minister? Hours surely?
How many parties are they talking about now? I've lost count.

I have only a passing interest in UK politics though i am interested in their role in NI politics. I love Boris even though he can be a fool, its free entertainment and he's a one-off. I hope he stays but its not looking good.
Just read this morning our politicians who are always giving out about Boris are a bit concernerd about who might replace him. Surely it makes no difference to us who is in charge of UK as we are protected by EU in the Brexit senario we were told.
I still don't believe she would fire him in that situation, she will definitely refuse the election if he goes that direction but firing him is a whole other level.
Jesus, we're actually in Trumpster Nazi territory now:
Apparently, Suella Braverman is putting her name forward. I thought she was still grappling with reality and pulling up the latter her parents climbed when they arrived here.
Unless he can be squeezed out , the 1922 Committee will change the rules and he'll be unceremoniously dumped. If he brazens it out beyond that to go to The Queen, he'll be fired.
O I'm not doubting all of that, but who actually gets to fire him 🤔
Isn't this partly the reason this is such a mess
They have a huge majority and getting rid of him will allow them to govern. It will not go down well if she is dragged into this mess of his own making. If she is, he will be fired.
She should walk onstage to accept like...
she apparently is hugely respected in the party. And given that she would not be running, would be the perfect person for the month or so to have a leadership election
it won’t come to pass I am sure but as Dave0301 said, it would be delicious.
Possibly true, but Boris wouldn't think twice about causing a constitutional crisis and drag Queeny into this mess.
Technically she couldn't refuse if as Boris seems determined to present a situation where government has collapsed and can't govern (I'm no expert, just looking at this from a lay person's, perspective)
Rumours coming out there's a resignation being penned but still a power struggle within No.10 with a loyal boris group pushing against it.
Ah! Suella Cowardly Man has her witches hat in the ring.
Ha! Having Johnson deposed to see May reinstated temporarily...the irony would be delicious.
Its the absolutely perfect footnote to it.
This is what he wants, all eyes on him, hes a narcissistic sociopath. Just look at his demeanor throughout yesterdays liaison committee he was eviscerated at several points but he was smiling and joking throughout.
The queen won’t let him dissolve government. And if he doesn’t go after a no confidence vote she will sack him and appoint a caretaker PM while there is a leadership vote. Theresa May seems to be emerging as the probable caretaker in the event of that constitutional event.
Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better end to his reign. The humiliation of it all is just wonderful.
Chief Whip either slept over or back in number 10
52 resignations, at this stage, Boris will have to consider appointing opposition MP"S to ministerial roles 😊
Its identical to the republican party and the Cult of Trump. The Cult of Boris will never die.
It's really now decended into two camps, a small delusional Boris Camp and the rest. I've seen some infighting in the conservative party over the years but this is really Civil war now and could destroy it (not necessarily a bad thing 😉)
Neither side can't now realistically back down, Boris can't govern under these circumstances, its ludicrous. Probably down to the 1922 committee but he could technically throw a legal challenge at any attempt to change rules re VONC,
I think at this stage he'll dissolve government rather than resign IMO
.....
Some ministers coming out in the radio in support of him this morning
Morning, having a spot of Scambled Egg on "Toast" for breakfast, might prepare some Humble pie for lunch, but may hold off, Boris still in number 10,
Round 2, should be an interesting day 😁
The same Tory rats that backed this clown a few weeks ago are now deciding to jump ship to save their own necks...
Tory scum and their constant infighting are one of the biggest reasons for an Independent Scotland and United Ireland....
Good riddance. I'd say Coveney can't hold back a smile this morning.
Brandon Lewis is finally gone. The poor DUP will be in panic mode now
More resignations this morning already.
Keep them coming.
^ This is not inconceivable given the madness of the last 36 hours. One thing is fairly certain, we should get another 3 or 4 days out of this circus.
A bunch of absolute rats. But, in fairness, Jason Voorhees has been a pretty good Minister for youth and civil society. Shame to see him go.
Since nearly anyone else in his current position would have resigned already, I'm feeling that we probably won't see him do this today (or this week). He still could, I just don't see it yet.
I fully expect him to waddle over to his lectern in front of No.10 and waffle on about "Getting on with the Business of Government. Biggest growth in the G7! Getting Brexit done! Leveling up! Trade deal with Micronesia (or some other microstate)!" Anything to try and not look like the failure that he is.
But now he's loads of positions to fill and some of the newbies are also telling him to go. You could barely call what he did before as "governing", you certainly can't now. Since he's not budging so far, I honestly think we might witness him begin physically turfed out of No.10. Just like Trump, I can't imagine him handing over power gracefully like all previous PMs. Once he loses a confidence vote he'll still need to be PM while the replacement is arranged, and I don't see him bothering to come to the Commons at all at the point. He'll likely stew in No.10 while trying to brew ways to stay on. In the end, his replacement might have to go in to evict him.
Our thoughts are with you during this time.
