I noticed the new coffee shop that's due to open in Boherbee is going to be called 'The Boherbean'! They are taking a long time to get open though. Very slow progress. Hope they do ok up there, as not sure its the busiest spot for a coffee shop...
Has anyone been into The Nu place in Bridge Street? I know Mark Lean is the owner of it. Seems to be busy enough whenever I've passed by. Nice to see the seating outside and that building occupied again.

Great to see the skateboarding park open in the sports complex, they have been talking about this since I was a teen, so fantastic to see it finally happen. More facilities like this for the town in the future hopefully.

I noticed a big change since I was last in Tralee town centre on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago. When I was last there, the Brandon car park was free, and so was the one across from Guiney's.
Now of course, with the new meters installed, and new signs, there's no mention of the days of the week in either location, which leads me to assume that there's no longer free parking on a Sunday.
I couldn't see any evidence that anyone had actually paid for a ticket.
What's the "shtory"?
Well the question is are traffic wardens working on bank holiday Sunday, seriously doubt it!
The new meters are programmed as to exactly when charges apply. If you put money into one on a Sunday, it'd print you out a ticket valid from 8am Monday.
Although not sure if they can handle the concept of public holidays...
