Afternoon Tea anyone 😁
This gender-fluid (ex) 'tea shop'
I do know its relevant and is one of the key tools of my trade. I was hoping to see some of the FFG supporters on here who moan about Twitter respond to my comment.
Sounds like something that Liz Truss would say.
About as real as the little diddly story you made up 🤣
How desperate is it now you are trying to link twitter troll accounts to the general population….hate to tell you some person sitting running 20+ accounts to abuse TD and random people online are nothing we should be trying to make acceptable
I have not seen homophobia come up until it's used to deflect. Can you point out the unconscious homophobia towards Leo?
Indeed and well observed 😏
Good help them if they ever hear the conservations that take place in the ques for food banks etc
Was the man with two pints there?
Because lots of people in certain demographics think it is relevant and use it. For the huge numbers of people who are not on Twitter it is not at all relevant. The behaviour on it doesn't represent real life unless every other person we meet is an asshole. Personally dislike it but find it very useful for info and to share specific types of promotional posts. In "morketing" it's a promotional channel and it's what Leo and many others do.
You don't even hide it. I'd say you are more weaponising the man's sexuality, which as you say is a form of homophobia, unlikely unconscious though as you know well what you are doing. I knew it was only a matter of time before he was used in that manner. All because he posted a tweet with no context and people took issue. People like you always whittle it down to the man's sexuality, as it seems that's the main thing about him that stands out for you. Its troubling that its allowed.
Too Funny , and Buns to boot 🤣🤣
Imaginary ones. 🤣
What Tea Shop still boils a Kettle 😁
That may be BA, but they were fools, not twitter cranks. The people I saw never mentioned twitter either, I just recognised them as twitter cranks from your definition on here.
Sounds like a nice tea shop all the same.. Just a bun and the kettle had to boil...
So we don’t have a transport system and then you mention the Luas 🤦♂️
Ireland is bigger than Dublin and we have a vast road network, we do need to invest now massively in public transport but as mentioned the people of ireland wanted roads and they got them. How many politicians got voted in because they got roads built
i went to a tea shop earlier and a bun, while I waited for the kettle to boil I heard 3 men talking about how great Leo and MM are, really go getter and pulling the country together….during the whole conversation and interaction none of them mentioned twitter or using twitter etc
I went to a coffee shop to grab a coffee and a sandwich about an hour ago, and while I was waiting there were three women having a coffee and talking. They were claiming that Leo doesn't live in the real world and some interview this morning sounded staged (I didn't hear which). They were also suggesting that there is nobody in government at the minute that they couldn't do a better job than. McEntee came under fire too, but I couldn't hear for what.
I felt I needed to angrily call them misogynists, racists or homophobes (or all three) on the way out, but i wasn't sure which was most apt, and shouting the whole lot seemed like a bit of a mouthful.
It's now getting to the stage when somebody can't grab a fecking coffee without twitter cranks being there. That cesspit is ruining the world as we know it, and it seems they are everywhere.
Twitter is like anywhere else, has it's good and bad points.
I think the biggest upset caused by Twitter is to those who don't like the fact the public have a voice.
The GE will be SF telling us all (we don't need to be told as we all know) FF and FG have made a mess of education, housing, health, public transport and so on.
FF and FG won't be able to say we actually did a good job (some of them will try in fairness) so most of the power swap will respond with but the IRA
Honestly, I think the reduction of policy/political discourse to 280 characters is one of the worst thing to happen to modern political culture. Franky politicians, who have long been prone to soundbite politics, should leave twitter to the twits. It's not really a place that any kind of constructive debate can be had.
So at 43, Leo's not young and hip anymore? That makes the photo's of him at the gig with a finger up his nose all the more silly looking now.
(You'd think he'd have more sense at his age)
I don't think that at all. There is only one side that brings up the man's sexual preference. If someone said something they would banned fairly sharpish. Also unless your writing a scholarly article journalists don't tend to be peer reviewed.
It's just beggar's belief, the efforts gone to in order to deflect from the original OP on a single Tweet and the responses to it. God Help us when it actually comes to the G E 😳
Doesn’t require data, to see what is happening.
We are still awaiting the data on how many cranks and bots responded to that tweet.
Tut tut Blanch, I actually said the Irony being some of the Angriest people on Twitter are Leo and his Cohort, I hope you've not forgotten Leo's recent , vicious and angry Tirade in the Dail
And yes Leo is Youngish @ 43 years of age .
Well, we do know there is a cohort of people who suffer from unconscious homophobia towards Leo..
OK, so you have no data or evidence to prove your claim.
Making **** up as per usual Francie.
If Twitter is so irrelevant and not a reflection of real life, why is Leo using it?
You tried to make it more about him than the topic. Its a pattern. When he says and does silly things, he'll be quoted and discussed. Maybe talk to him about it rather than trying to make it about him.
