Hey, it was some other poster that brought Leo into it. I was just pointing out that poster's foolishness in claiming Twitter is real life.
Another leo thread from the people don't want us quoting Leo. Tiresome.
Who said it represents real life blanch?
I said it mirrors what is happening the power swaps share of the vote in real life.
If you don’t quite get that yet, that is a good thing as far as I am concerned.
I look forward to Leo’s next no context round of applauding himself. The sound of one hand clapping.
We know, leo's no context tweet doesn't reflect real life.
All you did here is go into more 'look over there' detail.
Just typical running away from a futile argument. It could be worse, he could be claiming that Twitter represents real life. There couldn't be anyone stupid enough to claim that, could there?
Believe what you want Mark, I hope FG go on believing too and keep using Twitter. Because it’s only headed one way.
Not sure what he is on about, to be honest. It was he who raised the age profile and Leo's age into the conversation. Now he denies the whole thing.
Odd tbh.
You called Leo an angry "youngish" person on Twitter while not caring a jot about the age profile of Twitter users.
Laughable stuff, when you were caught out by the facts that (1) Leo is not young and (2) he is certainly not young when compared to the age profile of Twitter users.
Your claim:
it (comments on twitter) perfectly mirrors real life
Show us any evidence from peer-reviewed journals to substantiate your claim.
Unless of course you mentioned age profiles.... ;)
Eh, we've feck all of a transport system. Some roads out of and into Dublin isn't a transport system. We don't have any form of decent public transport system to our airports (which is ridiculous in comparison to any other city like Dublin), we've feck all inner city transport bar some overpopulated Luas' and very little inter city transport. We've a 2nd world health service (at best), we've massive childcare fees that are so high people can't afford to even have kids if they want them and some of the largest class sizes in Europe.
The only things we come out well on are employment, since we've loads of **** paid jobs no one can live on, and our massively inflated GDP that does very little for anyone bar the 1% at the top.
What data do I need?
Every politician is on there and every journalist/pundit of note uses it extensively.
Claiming it is not real life is a bit like the nursery rhyme character who ran around screaming ‘the sky is falling in’.
The feedback government ministers get perfectly mirrors their performance with the electorate.
No , I was responding to silliness from Blanch, try keep up .
This is nothing to do with age profiles as blanch knows full well .
it perfectly mirrors real life
Stop talking nonsense, or else show some data to prove your reasoning here.
When you match the comments to polling and how FG FF did in the last election, it perfectly mirrors real life.
You won’t find many genuine political pundits who ignore it, if any.
I care not a jot about age profile of Twitter users
Ah but you do, in fact you specifically referred to the age of young people on Twitter when having a go at Leo.
Quite an about-turn after just two posts.
Who are 'they'?
Have no idea what you are referring to. Indeed its like 2+2= a can of spam.
Twitter is not real life Francie. You of all people should know that.
Eh, I'm sure there was more to it. ;)
I was merely pointing out that those who are foreseeing the government being reckless with spending a large amount of money, and that is a valid point of view.
The entire opposition wants the government to spend even more money.
If there is some sort of crash, let the history books tell the tale that the opposition wanted to spend more money.
One cant have it both ways, decry the government for spending too much and then on the same page want the government to spend more money fixing the issue of the day. Only hypocrites and cranks do that.
I care not a jot about age profile of Twitter users , I've dealt with a specific post , comprehensively as have others and yet again you try to deflect with silliness that has nothing to do with the tweet being discussed.
You've cleay not even looked at the tweet or responses and just on another makey uppey responses which is really just embarrassing.
If you seriously believe people can't see what your at that's delusional.
Both sides are as bad as each other. I've no faith that the next crowd in will be any better although they can't be much worse i hope.
Even in the face of factual evidence of the age profile of Twitter users, you maintain your delusion. Fair play.
Well who'd be the first to Jump is I said he was middle aged Blanch , go on, ill give you a hint, YOU ,
Leo is 43 years of age , that's youngish in my book and I'm 55 this week.
Honestly you've lost the argument, it's not so terrible to admit it 😏
Lol , you should listen back to Leo's interview on newstalk earlier, got a little , actually more than a little tongue tied when discussing the "Metro" project, when asked about the potential for it to cover budget, he responds , costs can go down as well as up 🤣🤣 honestly it was Hillarious. Some swift responses on the dreaded twitter, Leo also talked about baking cakes , honestly the man is lost .
So 43-year old Leo is a youngish person on Twitter?
More delusionary stuff from the usual sources.
So if somebody dares challenge FG then it’s a ‘pile-on’.
You either don’t know what a ‘pile on’ is or it is just the typical use of buzz words to demean ordinary people expressing a view.
Classic FG arrogance really.
We have invested in a transport system, massive investment. Problem is the transport system is based on cars. Sorry not a problem, just not a public transport system
Plus the reason why the government made those calls and still make those investments today is because the majority of people in ireland wanted it, everyone wanted a new motorway to Galway/Cork/Limerick etc etc and got it built
Now they are built people are complaining because they now want a different transport system.
look at the response to any public transport investment in teh last 30 years, normal response was “f**king waste of time”. Even today when it suggested to pump money into a public transport system from Cork to Limerick this is ridiculed because we need “to build da road”
The money from MNC has build huge infrastructure in Ireland which some people now want to ignore and try say ireland has built nothing.
