    How many more times are they going to refer to the collision last year? Max is going to walk the championship this year, Hamilton nowhere in the mix. Its like they keep mentioning last year to keep Lewis relevant.

    He did at least get 3 points on his license (now on 6) and a 5 place grid penalty for next race



    The Stewards examined video evidence. They summoned and heard the drivers and team representatives (documents 27 & 28).

    Having considered the matter extensively, the Stewards determined that Car 16 left the track at Turn 15 after making an error. The Driver rejoined the course at the exit of the corner and rather than focusing on a safe merge into traffic, made an unpredictable and unsafe move to defend his position that initiated the contact with Car 1. Car 16 was wholly responsible for the collision and fully accepted blame for the incident.

    Competitors are reminded that they have the right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.

    It looks like there is a high chance of rain. Fingers crossed this could be a fantastic race. The general consensus seems to be that Max will win but if it rains who knows.

    It would seem that Max & Hamilton have buried the hatchet which is great to see.

    Hopefully Ferrari will not have reliability issues.

    I would love to see Alonso do well.

    Had to be someone out of shot at the start of the anthem frantically signalling to the wee lad in the background to take off his baseball cap. 🤣
