Is there an election on the way, because that's a very electioneering style photo op in my opinion.
Piles of paper next to a computer. Is he letting us know the Civil service still run primarily on paper I thought he would have a paperless office. Not great for the Environment that. And before ppl eeeeep, He can keep pdf's on his phone or tablet.
LOL, would you believe I know it well 😂 I worked and lived in Baltimore, Maryland for 4 years and visted Dundalk, Maryland 😉
How could you think such a thing 😁
But more telling was it was clearly a staged photo op, he was touring the constituency, other photos of engagements on the day, including Jamee's Connolly hospital. He's wearing the same suit, if he was working diligently at his constituency office, you'd think he'd have the jacket off, shirt sleeves rolled up and actually talking to a constituent, instead of staring into an empty space 😉
Even the Sindo has noticed the rise of SF.
Not a great poll for FF/FG. FF on 15% is close enough to its RedC %.
Regards...jmcc
Hard to imagine an Ireland where FF/FG had 86% of the vote. What a spectacular fall that isn't finished yet, down to 37%.
Poor Eamonns leadership polling is almost in negative territory 😁
You would have to wake him up first to realise. Or is he off in Brussels talking about the USSR
Leo's premeditated outburst doesn't seem to have done him any favours. 😁
It's spreading.
A house is a reward? Are you actually for real?
So it's the opposition's fault that the government aren't doing anything about this problem?
This is up there with "we all partied" for delusion.
I see the Irish Times reporting this morning, Paschal is depending on FF support for retaining his "Influential" Euro group position.
Premium article I'm afraid.
Not premium for me and it's just down to whether the two swap places come year end as only MoF gets that perk. Donohue is the better of the two IMO but they have a good thing going together and this hardly seems a reason for them to swap over. One would imagine where other ministries go will be a much bigger issue.
Not Premium for me either, I'd be surprised of any swap over but it's a possibility I guess , I think Michael Mc Grath quite happy were he is at the moment, let Paschal take most of the Flack , so to speak , next year is going to be ****show economically.
Ffg shouldn't increase ps pay. Focus all resources on usc abolition. Pay increases for all that way.. the welfare merchants can have another tenner! The lower vat rate for the hospitality thieves, needs to be increased! Cut fuel related taxes...
..yes they are for real, yes some believe such critical human needs are so, theyd be the seriously fcuked up ones!
There may be trouble ahead.
According to Michael Ring.
...never mind that, theres a sale on in harvey norman!
€1 laptops can't be up to much though. Surely cheap plastic junk.
...whos cares, its a sale!
What do fg expect. As long as they put increasing welfare as top priority over working people, they are reaping what they have sewed!
Another bonus on the way for the bone idle? Remind me again why we bother working?
Hopefully his one of them , whilst I enjoy him poking at Leo , he's an epic buffoon.
I'd like to see what that prediction is based on. I suspect it's just something party HQ is putting out there to light a fire under complacent TDs taking their seats for granted. If they're on round 20% of FPV as per the opinion polls no way will they be losing four out of five seats...
Unlikely to be standing again. Will be over 70 and had to have his arm twisted last time...
And which party that prioritises working people are those voters deserting FG for?
Yes fair point re him standing again but I'd be doubtful any FG candidate will retain the seat .
I think there's a good chance if Mayo goes back up to five seats after the constituency redraw. In that scenario shareout would almost certainly be 2 SF, 1 FF, 1 FG and the last seat between FF and FG. FG would need a strong second candidate though as FF will likely run with Chambers and Calleary.,..
According to the article it's based on an internal party report, so doubtful you'll get to see it. Oddly enough, that 4-1 ratio would be way above would I would give the ratio of competence amongst their politicians.
I would struggle to name you any competent FG members after Paschal Donohoe and Simon Coveney, (and the latter being severely tainted with the Zappone scandal.) The rest are bumbling buffoons to be honest.
Varadker, Harris, McEntee etc are being marketed as the party's young and hip switched on type, but in reality are all social media obsessed dead beats.
Hadn't thought about the extra TD so good point in fairness 😏
Slightly off topic but relevant in relation to the government policy re Russia, Ukranian refugees etc and virtue signalling.
Fascinating Program on BBC news. yesterday
"TO RUSSIA WITH BLOOD"
Government all caught up in virtue signalling etc and yet it seems someone not paying attention to a little matter involving an Irish Bank, Russian Dirty money and an Irsh Developer with offices in Baltimore, Cork and currently selling properties to very questionable folks from Russia in Montenegro of all places.
Curious it's the BBC reporting on this scandal and not Irish Media 🤔
It's being repeated on BBC news and available on BBC iplayer but not in Ireland, truely shocking stuff.
