Brief report on what life is like in the Russian occupied cities of Ukraine. Seems they are very heavily militarised with Russian troops and checkpoints everywhere. Sounds like Derry or Belfast circa 1971-72, but even more oppressive in that no protests or dissent of any description are allowed....anyone not in favour of the invasion living in fear of the occupiers and afraid to leave home.
EU at the heel of Germany and Germany at the heel of Russia:
A European nation being told by the EU that it must collaborate with the Russians massed on its border.
"Hey Comrade, wouldnt it be cool if our spies all waked with specific gait so people could spot them?"
..
I suspect Putin walks like that because he is massively over compensating in order to disguise something.
...
Amazing how well they are doing with the weapons they have, and better ones on the way too.
That’s a disingenuous and incorrect article if I’ve ever seen one! From omitting that most of the repairs were needed as the result of counter-battery fire to claiming that the M777 is a self-propelled howitzer, this article is a hack job of the highest order. Not surprised at all that this was put out by an Indian website.
No surprise at all…and quoted by someone called zv2 🤣
I would take anything coming out of this site with a grain of salt
I tend to agree. Thanks for putting me wide to the 'self-propelled' bit. I missed that.
You may go beck to my posts before Feb. 24 and see I have been using this name long before Putin stole it from me, lol.
For those living there, that means fear, intimidation, and changes to their ways of life, from their money to their internet access.
Ah-ha.....so thats what it means to be 'liberated'
Yes, the Russian version of liberation is what everyone else would call being oppressed by a hostile police state.
That proves nothing!

Can't have the people that welcomed them who then realise what they welcomed escape.
Or he is an old man with a metal hip and a fat gut 🤷♂️
If the sanctions are EU sanctions, then the EU Commission surely has a role in saying how they should be implemented. If the goods in question are Russia to Russia (Kaliningrad) then it is questionable as to whether they can be sanctioned by the EU. The whole thing gives Putin an excuse to cry Foul and threaten others. As long as these shipments are not part of some large aggressive military buildup in Kaliningrad, let them be and concentrate on other areas which will really hurt the Russian war effort.
Anyone know how long it's gonna take for the Russians to burn though their Artillery barrels and their ability to manufacture them now. I can imagine they "had" huge stockpiles but due to everything being flogged off left and right via rampant corruption. Or them actually have been manufactured in the first place and the money not trousered.
I'd imagine they can still make gun barrels, nothing electronic about that , it's old fashioned machine tools and engineering , as to wether they have enough trained people to make very many of them in a hurry , and wether they still have the tech to make more machine tools to make more gun barrels in a hurry ..
But if they've still got huge stocks of ammo they can account for inaccuracy of the system by just putting more rounds down range - but but if the Ukrainians get their improved counter battery fire up and running then the Russians won't have the time (or the rounds hopefully ) to wait around to fire more shells )
Also the Russians still have air superiority, which makes it harder for the Ukrainians to stay out of range and take pot shots at the Russians ..
Even if, and I do not, you subscribe to this whole 'feint' business (which was a really bloody expensive feint, given how many men and tanks were left behind), what do you think those 100,000 Ukrainian troops might be doing about now (Even assuming the number is accurate)? Sitting around twiddling their thumbs? Or taking advantage of their current period of inactivity in order to train, re-equip, and later replace other units on the front line which themselves can return to Kyiv for reset? Apparently Russian units are not being given the same amount of time to rest and recuperate.
CanadianUkrain1 volunteer is a liar. It was very clear for a long time that this guy was just making it all up.
It
War on the Rocks podcast (a very good pocast if you want straight reliable info on the granular detail of the war) reported that the Russian military was dipping into Belarus' artillery reserves at this stage.
Yeah they must be chewing through barrels, Wager to their over firing them with low skilled operators.
Does a coin on a railway track derail a train? Asking for friend.
Lychansk has fallen to the Red Army, the Communist flag flies on its town hall.
Luhansk will be fully occupied shortly, the need to speed up military aid to Ukraine grows more urgent.
No but I could tell you how very easily mate used to work as a railway track installer. Joking ofc about telling you 😂
Those Russian b@stards… stealing Ukrainian toilets wasn’t enough… think we’ve solved the Fungi mystery!
They won’t.
It’s not going well on the ground for Ukraine according to the Guardian.
