Crimea is moderately stable and Russia really doesn't have enough money to be able to hang onto a lot of Donbas. That said, they may well be part of a peace deal.

You are forgetting that the oil and gas supplied trough Europe is only trough pipelines,Russia have only one pipeline to China.
And new pipelines and infrastructure takes 5-10 years to make.
Besides Russias oil production was reduced by 1/3 once western oil companies pulled out.
So the rest is going trough oil terminals in Russia,and sent by tankers thats much more expensive and takes longer time.
During winter alot of port and terminals in Russia freezes over and expenisve hire of ice breakers and pilotage is needed.
And Russia is selling oil below market price.
This will only last temporary untill Europe stops importing oil and gas by 80% beginning of next year.
Then the sanctions will really start to set in

You are aware that NATOs fleet doesnt have to be in the black sea to make an impact,Turkey have US air bases and Romania and Bulgaria is beside the black sea as well with air bases as long range missiles?
Besides Cyprus have air bases as well close by and so does Greece,and there is carriers in the Mediterranean and subs as well with long range missiles.
Turkey controls the Bosporus and is a NATO country

If a conflict with NATO happens in the black sea,the entire Russian Black sea fleet will be gone in a matter of hours.
I doubt very much if any Ukrainians will accept any deal with Russia that does not include Russia pulling out of ALL Ukrainian territory's, Crimea, Dunbas etc. And all this talk about Russia making gains etc at this point in time. Thats the whole point,,,at this point in time. Do you think they will be making the same gains in 3 mths time? Once long distance weapons come into play by the Ukrainians, you will see a big difference.
Under their rights in the Montreux Convention, Turkey actually closed the Bosphorous to transiting warships from all countries , even Black Sea bordering countries unless the vessel's home port is in the Black Sea. That includes Russia. F-F-F-FACT
So once the Russian Black Sea Fleet gets picked off one-by-one - the sea will slowly but surely turn into a Turkish lake. A strategic victory for NATO, and all it will take is time.
