Another Christmas special??? Ooooh!!
I love the Gavin and Stacey Christmas specials. I never really thought of Christmas specials until their first one came out years ago. It's a staple in our house now.
This is amazing news !

Will be very strange having the footie WC in the build up to Christmas!
Ah nice to see specials for Death in Paradise ... will make a change from a rewatch of Poirot for my 'evil under the sun' fix for cosy crime at Christmas.
And I expect the cast will have a bit of fun with the Shakespeare & Hathaway special.
As a Death in Paradise fan, have that one already marked in. Rarely end up watching much live TV, as such, and is usually movies or recorded stuff much later.
not familiar with the book, but came across this article tonight.
I bought one of the prints for my wife 2 years ago for a Christmas present she loves the book and it means a lot to us. Really looking forward to the short. His book is full of positive messages.
Just found this earlier this morning, had no idea this was happening.
An all time classic story and possibly the greatest ever for sheer bang for buck considering the amount of versions on tv and film there's been. It's a small book as well. But I don't think the world needed anotyer version. Everyone has their favourite and mine is the Jim Carrey one which is still recent enough all things considered.
There’s another version coming either this year or next to apple tv staring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell
Just what the world needs!
Like a Christmas shoes reboot!
Now that would be great 😉👍😂
1 ticket to the island coming right up!!
That’s appealing at this time of year they get a whole extra month of summer.
So now July is over, did anyone watch any Christmas films for 'Christmas in July'?
As 99% of them were the Hallmark type we'd never bother with them, must admit I did have a wee bit of a craving for a Christmas film though & took a look at my collection to see if we'd scratch the itch so to speak, but when I mentioned it to the family they all said no so just left it at that. Looks like it'll be end of October/Halloween and 'The Nightmare before Christmas' to kick off our festive film viewing again in 2022!!
Anyone else indulge though?
Nothing here either. Thought crossed my mind a few times however watched so little TV the last few weeks that didn't really get the chance to be honest. When the nights draw in and is cold/dark out in the evenings then the TV time will go up. Might still try to hold off on the Christmas movies till nearer the time though.
Yeah we'd normally wait until Halloween is out of the way before indulging too.
I'd always wait until the Christmas tree is up. I did catch a minute of home alone one day when I came across it. The scene where Kevin is talking to the old man in the church. Music was great but had to turn it off as I would only be upset at it being so far away ha.
im a celeb returning 2-3 weeks earlier than planned due to the World Cup
Will be seeing that a lot over the next few months.
World Cup will be wrecking a few people's Christmas build up I'd imagine.
Late Late Toy show is on the 25th November this year.
The last Rudolph day of the year too!! With Christmas FM launching the Monday after! A benchmark weekend!!
Was thinking the same, a great final run in 'kick off' weekend.
