Clerical Officer in the Civil Service 2022 | Civil Service - publicjobs.ie
thanks for your reply. Best of luck with your assignment
done my interview this week and I feel I got absolutely grilled and not confident at all, oh well I will know soon
I'm sure you did better than you think. I felt the same with mine, my brain was fried after the interview. It was such a face paced interview with barely enough time to take a breath between questions. Fingers crossed for you and I hope you're not waiting too long for your results.
Hi @maggie44 , How are you finding Revenue?
Which department are you in?
Any info appreciated!
Hi guys, can I ask when those who are getting offers originally applied? I’m only due to the online testing this week? I’m hoping for a placement in Louth,
thank you
suzie
Hi All,
I Got an email about location choices for Cork. Do I number my preferences 1,2,3 etc or what way does it work? I live outside the city in a suburb. I would prefer to work closer to home. Do ye think there is any chance of getting a job outside of the city. I’m going to put city as my last preference.
Most I know were placed in Revenue Blackpool and DSP in city. But others got CSO in Blackrock and Defense in Cobh. So just list your preference. They may come back to say you might be better off taking a city offer
Yes I got the same email for locations in Meath so probably just like you said number them as 1,2,3 in place thats more convenient for traveling to
Hi all. Justgot word I passed my interview. Was very unsure after doing it, got flustered on a few things but I just want to say thanks to everyone on this thread for all of their help and insight. Cheers
Hi well done on passing your interview, can I ask when did you do your interview?
Had my interview last Thursday for Dublin, and delighted to say I passed! Was not confident at all given my brain was fried on one question and thought I screwed it up. Quicker pass than I anticipated. Not sure when my place will be reached as I was 1412 on the OOM, and in batch 8. Anyone from the same batch know any news?
Are you sure you are on the right thread, as far as I know online testing that opens this week is for EO panel?
Em I think so… not sure now though. 😅
I applied for HSE Clerical officer email says I have until Thursday 7th to complete psychometric tests?
Aah, this is a thread for a clerical officer in the Civil Service, the assessment for it was back in December 2021, this is why people are already being assigned departments. Not sure how quickly HSE runs its recruitment campaign.
Hi All
I'm on Dublin Panel in batch 7, found out nearly 4 weeks ago I passed interview and awaiting clearance. I got no email regarding location choices would this be right considering Cork and Meath email regarding this?
I received a message on Public jobs to register my interest for locations in Waterford, has anyone else got this and what happens next ?
Hi there, would anybody know if you have to interview for Clerical Officer if you already passed TCO interview within the last 3 years?
I think if its a TCO position you only need to interview if it has been more than 3 years since your interview, but I didn't hear if the same applies for permanent position? I got a location survey so am wondering does that usually come after the interview? Thanks :)
Yes, you do. I had a TCO interview in September 2021, have been a TCO since October 2021, then had an interview for CO in April 2022.
Thanks for the reply Poltort2! Appreciate it :)
I guess I will be another while waiting so
Does anyone know when they’ll be hiring for clerical officers again this year?
For those wondering about Offaly, they have called up to and including order of merit 75 as of today.
For those wondering about Westmeath, they called up to and including order of merit 136 as of today.
The current competition is for 12 months, if they run a competition for 2023, I expect they will advertise on publicjobs.ie next November.
Hi all, I received two emails this morning to confirm my location preferences for the 2 counties. Did anyone else have to do this? I’m hoping it means things are moving a bit!
Did you remain in the same department or did you move?
I have read on here, comments from people stating that some people have been asked this question, it depends on the counties you listed, have a look back a few pages, you will see those comments.
Well done, the very best of luck to you!
@Keeffey69 I got the same email yesterday. I could only pick Waterford city though because I don't have my own means of transport. Does anyone know if there's much of a demand for Waterford city?
Westmeath must be on a bit of a break, I was told they were on 135 two weeks ago.
Up to 47 in Tipperary for interview for anyone interested
Same here. When positions become available for your area of choice they will do interviews.
