I absolutely do and you know well I do,
So surely you are aware of the history of political interference in the Irish Health system? It seems you are a fan of this type of interference, which is typical Irish clientism. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Its policy to try and get the HSE to direct resources in places of need, not to places where there is political clout. Its quite a binary choice really.
And it's exactly this kind of arrogance that has Fine Gael ruined. So be it. Hypocrites indeed 😂
It leaves you in the position where you appear to be criticising a Minister for doing something you actually agree with!!!!
It is quite bizarre. As I said, criticism and whinging and moaning for the sake of it, not because you actually disagree with the policy.
I am quite happy to say that I think Donnelly has this one wrong, and you call me a government stooge!! You are afraid to do that. Why? Is it because the opposition have yet to call it, and you are waiting for someone to give you the lead and tell you what to think?
It might be news to you, but the government won't fall over the words of Una Mullaly.
Oh trust me - I do not want the government to fall. Oh no. Full term please. Reap what you sow. And I don't really want FG to change. All good thanks.
Again, how you've magically come to that conclusion is a mystery given I've no opinion on the matter you appear to be determined to drag out of me.
There are a number of reasons why Ireland is always one of the most expensive mortgage markets.
Firstly, there is the size of the market, which is small by European standards, meaning there is less competition.
Secondly, there is the repossession issue. This is the one that led to the likes of the peoples's heroes Daly and Murphy defending multi-millionaires with huge properties.
Thirdly, there are the CB reserve rules, which have been put in place because of the mad behaviour of the banks and borrowers in the 2000s.
If you have an alternative explanation, please give it, rather than just pontificating endlessly without content.
I'll second that there doing a stellar job 😏
Precisely, you are waiting for some opposition politician to call it first, so you can jump on some bandwagon of criticism. As I said before, no opinion of your own, just criticism, whinging and moaning for the sake of it.
Hmmmm, pontificating, that what you call an opinion, I'm totally bamboozled, you complain about people not having an opinion, when they express one they are pontificating, I think your starting to confuse yourself 🤔
A I'm a whinger and moaner, very constructive. I wondered if I agreed with some of your outlandish notions would you think I was simply brilliant.
Please Blanch you can't have honest dialogue if all it entails is constant jibes and deflection.
You must try harder.
No, I don't equate pontificating with an opinion. Pontificating without content is what you are at, no opinion, no substance, just whinging, moaning and complaining.
Nobody knows what reason you believe Ireland has the second most expensive mortgages, other than you whinge about it.
Nobody knows whether you believe Navan hospital A&E should be closed, other than you whinge about Donnelly doing something about it.
You can't have honest dialogue unless posters actually post opinions about policies.
Pot Kettle black, since you don't have an opinion on what our president says even after you are asked.
It's been an exhausting morning 😉
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sorry I'm laughing at the Hypocrisy, I can't help myself.
Not at all, in fact I am consistent. I have opinions on housing policy which I have given, I have opinions on homelessness which I have given. I have an opinion on Navan Hospital A&E which I have given.
I don't give an opinion on Donnelly talking, so why would I give an opinion on someone holding an honorary position with no executive powers says? Completely consistent.
It's sadly only getting started.
You won't give an opinion as it's anti government and their housing policies.
As I said, I have given opinions on housing policy and homelessness many times. Not interested in the opinions of a nonentity honorary position holder so not going to comment on them.
Or the women bullied out of FG.
I heard Madigan was threatening legal action against the four schools she claimed were ignoring the department of education.
Of course all four deny this and have proof. Was she just riffing to try sound good or simply lying?
Typical FG, going on another solo run. Don't forget Madigan was up to her neck in swing gate.
Also typical to go after the front line. When its not the doctors, nurses or teachers fault its the public.
Well it is partly some of the publics fault. The public who voted for them.
Mod - Can we move on from the hospital discussion please.
Posters can also stop repeatedly badgering each other to answer specific questions, posting them over and over again is clogging up the thread and is extremely irritating to read.
If someone doesn't want to address a point or answer a question posed to them they are not required to.
There's nothing at all new in that article. Been said on here many times by many posters. In any case one can agree with one thing a person says without having to agree with everything the same person says
I'd not soil my fingers by picking up a copy of the Irish Times but plenty of screen grabs of it online if you want to actually read it
..
Too funny 🤣
Unfortunately there won’t be much to laugh at in two years time when this is over.
