Darragh O'Brien stated today that the government stand over their agreements. If this is the case, why are frontline staff still waiting for their €1000 bonus?
Might be more credible if you engaged with the points and not Trump style hand waving to dismiss.
They should be looking for more burial sites. They found a few in Canada were the church ran residential schools. Bloody shameful.
Shes good at getting donations
Shouldn't you be pointing out the work of substance she has done or what she has achieved since taking office instead of the 'pointing over there' fallback?
Surely it would be the most effective defence?
Here is the president of Ireland visiting a farm.
Here is the future First Minister of NI visiting a school to look at some art.
Here is Dominic Raab the UK Justice Secretary planting a tree.
I could go on... but it only seems that you get angry at pregnant women in politics. Odd that.
Is it only women you hold to this high standard or just the Minister of Justice? Because I have not seen you go on about this about other politicians...
Wow, that’s some leap.
You really think that opening a kitchen is a task that befits the seniority of her ministerial position?
She’s making herself look bad through her blatant self promotion and attending “silly” ceremonies like the opening of a kitchen.
And if she wasn't doing work like that, you would accuse her of being out of touch with ordinary people.
Asked a perfectly ligitimate question, most spineless TD'S afraid or dare ask, for that she gets bullied and treated disgracefully.
TD'S will soon find out what their constituents are saying (whilst on their Holidays 😉)
Tolerance Levels of this virtue signalling nonsense whilst people struggling is wearing off rapidly Marko, it's actually this appalling government that's the cause of social cohesion breaking down.
Loath as I am to agree with you on anything, but this is getting ridiculous from that poster.
Eh, Citizenship Ceremonies and the like are under the direction of the Dept. Of Justice.
What exactly do you want her to be doing instead?
Dressing up in a boilersuit and catching bad guys?
Sitting behind a desk 20 hours a day going over paperwork?
And what was that anyway? 4 Tweets in over one month? Do you think she is doing anything else?
Kind of pathetic really the way you are arguing here. You seem kind of obsessed with her tbh. Trawling over old Tweets to make her look bad.
Indeed... so quick to get a dig in...
Pathetic guff as always!
I’m not the one pretending or imagining things hun xoxo
No comment on the important work highlighted in the tweets I shared I see?
Carol Nolan engaged in Dog Whistle politics.
Why did you make comment on her ability to do the job and refer to her sex and ability to get pregnant so?
Maybe because you are a misogynist?
O Dear, here we ago again, I commented on the fact Blanch mentioned she /he worked in a ministeral office 30 years ago, I said, I'd at least hope things were better then etc.
Can you please keep up
Does this also mean anything Sinn Fein done/did/maybe did 30/40 years ago is off limits when talking about them considering the GFA and there transition into politics or are they different?
Dont be silly, you said it there in black and white.
I'm glad to see she's at least done something with her time in politics.
.
It deserves someone who can commit to it full-time and not be absent for two long sabbaticals
Now you are trying to pretend you actually meant something else entirely.... but alas its there.
Pity, this was a chance to actually learn and grow but your sexism and misogyny was too much for you to admit that you did wrong here.
What the government did 30-40 years ago is not relevant to what the government is doing today. So shoehorn your own legacy issues in another thread... which you are more than welcome in doing.
Helen McEntee performing completely vital dutie below. I mean there's no-one else but a Senior Cabinet Minister who could possibly perform such tasks esp. with the Dail breaking up shortly, and all of the other issues going on around us. Is this really what the Minister for Justice should be doing in these unprecedented times?
Less tweeting and more work please.
#SelfieTime! Completely appropriate Ministerial behaviour alright.
And this - a day out to open a Citizen's Information Office in Nenagh. FFS.🙄
And a kitchen:
I mean who else on the planet (let alone Ireland) could do this work? When I think of the Minister for Justice and what the job entails opening kitchens and Information centres and taking selfies are right up there. We're lucky to have her!
Thats New Politics Fine Gael style. A lot of back scratching goes on.
And this outrageous performance and accusations from Darragh O Brien earlier.
They always use the sexist/mysogeny card to avoid criticism but bring up the ongoing treatment or justice for the Mother and Baby home survivors and it's complete silence or loads of whataboutery. Fake. The Greens were left to clean up that legacy mess and were then thwarted at every opportunity.
8 years to excavate an unmarked mass grave of children. It hasn't even started. Some country, some government.
He's an in with the judiciary. Maybe Seamus slipped him a confidential document about it.
I agree and said so earlier in the Thread, it was perhaps a slip of the tongue during his unhinged rampage but he knows something clearly.
The cynic in me thinks this is all about timing, if and it's still an if, a person is sent forward for Trial at this stage its highly likely a trial wouldn't take place until after the next rotation of convenience in terms of who's Taoiseach.
Could of course be all a coincidence but given the "Investigation" has taken this long, DPP in possession of the File and Leo's slip of the Tongue, one just wonders (aloud ) 🤔🤔🤔
You can't see it.
You clearly acknowledge that a poster obsessed over commenting on Helen McEntee's pregnancy is wrong, yet you also criticise those who call it out. All because that poster happens to be on "your side" to use a phrase used on here often.
Last said about it was Leo telling Pearse the 'COURTS' would decide if he was guilty or not, even pointing out the courts already decided Pearse was guilty of his offence after he stated the Courts would decide.
I know Leo is a liar and not to be trusted but i take this as he knows himself (or has been told) he will have his day in court so to speak
