It's a huge sum, for sure. I know it would kill me spending it on that house ☺
Have a look at it on the floor plan, its some sort of curved affair in two parts.
I’ve seen this in passing in the car, it was destroyed in a fire a couple of months back. The ad somehow manages to claim it’s a 2 and 3 bed simultaneously, and claims there’s a garage to the side. When realistically anything remaining looks like it has to be knocked.
I wonder what the situation is here? Owner didn’t have insurance and is looking to get whatever they can and wash their hands with it?

Burned down almost a year ago to the day.
Planning permission to rebuild granted in Nov 21;
Sold for €700k apparently.
This is a former Garda Barracks for sale near me. Would need a good bit of work. (Nothing special really )
I like this. I wonder how much it will go for, €125k seems a lot to me... But I really don't know at all, that area or current mad prices.
It is a lot considering they are hoping to get more with that price as starting bid.
Thatch roof will need to be done in the next few years too. Then all there is, is grass no gravel or tarmac. Not good in the middle of winter.
Big lake tourism spot. Could see it turn into an Air BnB.
This house was on the Journal. I think its going "cheap" giving the current market. I know nothing about the area but it looks quite central to some decent size towns. The shared driveway might be an issue

Looks lovely to be honest, would love to live there.
The walk in wardrobe in the master is fúcking massive.
There appears to have been 2 houses for sale in that remote area, this one was listed at €575k and sold for €750k. It seems in better nick than the other one that was listed with 44 acres

The other one for €450k
Meh, I could still fill it.
I have to say, with seeing all these huge houses I would have loved when I was younger, it's some waste of space altogether. That house, nice and all as it looks, just seems so lonely, even the lived in rooms. Too big, you'd want a family of about 15 to make it look lived in. Giving me a far greater appreciation for smaller places.
I think if I had the money, I'd build a small house, a huge entertainment room, and the rest would just be grass. I'd also have the money to get a gardener in to make it look like I care.
That kitchen is giving me mad envy. And the utility/laundry ! Odd socks would be consigned to history there I'd just be so organised. ( sigh )
Houses with a Star Wars connection for sale.
Another one from Glengarriff. Like a hotel but for one family.

Wow! Amazing. Looks it could be Canada or Scandinavia.
Nice house. I'm not sure I'd buy a flat roof house in Ireland or anything with wood on the outside.
I'd have to try and see if I could paddle that kayak down that hill.... 😳
Is that car on sideways wheels in the garage? And not sure I would like the glass panels in the bedroom onto the living room, but the surroundings and the outlook are amazing.
I love both of those but winters would be very bleak.
Is the brickwork cracked in the chimney in pics 12 and 13?
No, its deliberate, decorative.
It looks awful to me.
It's nice in some ways, gorgeous views etc. but it's far too clincal for me. All that white with no colour breaking it up would have me feeling like I was living in a doctor's surgery.
Easy enough fix to introduce some colour/life into it I suppose.
Yup. Handy yokes. But you'd think with all that money they would have made a double door... Lovely house. Looks right up my alley. And the glass wouldn't bother me, as there'd be no one looking back in, it would be just me myself and I! Wonder what the internet is like there...
All I can say is; lol, wtf?!
wouldn't be terribly keen on the gothic exterior but the interior is quite nice. Can't understand why they have mismatched chairs around the dining table though.
