Everyone is looking at it differently; he's doing it the way he needs to and that includes some of this browbeating of allies. It's not personal. Daily statements are essential even if some of the demands are not going to be realised.

Historically, major country collapses have usually been preceded by an acceleration in emigration of wealthy people, who are often the first to leave as they have the means to do so.
Zelensky is doing all of those things to the point of irritation sometimes but you have to be irritating when your country's very existence is at stake. It's often the only way to keep people interested and actively supporting you.

It would be a strange thing to hear that he was confirmed dead.A lot of celebrations in different countries and in years to come people would recall where they were when they heard the news.

Yeah but if it's a bigger dickhead who's more sensible then we could go back to Russia being a weirdo bizarro world while the rest of the world can move on, hopefully with as much of Ukraine as possible.
But he'd be one without both an army and money. The easier path is denounce Putin , pull back and work on any cunning plans in the background. I don't think Russia could even take on Moldova at this stage. I'm also coming round to the conclusion that Russia as any kind of world power is absolutely finished.

Exactly. Trolls are talking out of both sides of their mouth on this. They criticise the West for sending weapons to Ukraine, but also cry foul over Zelenskyy's constant lobbying for more of same. Actually, with the latter it's usually not as overt as that, but more like, "Jesus, this Zelenskyy guy. He's getting annoying. Right, everybody?" and trying to more subtly sow the seeds that way.
Any one of us here would do the exact same in his position. We have to remember that Putin would happily kill every last Ukrainian if they refuse to come under his control. That's the reality of it. God knows what is already being done with Ukrainians in Russian-occupied parts of Ukraine right now. Shame on those who try to obfuscate, deny or distract from it. If anything, Zelenskyy has been extraordinarily calm and together in this whole situation. The idea that the West might turn its back on Zelenskyy for being a bit overzealous - how can you be overzealous when the existence of your people is at stake? You'll do anything and try anything, and that is totally understandable.
