Facts from 2020 are not facts from 2022, I think it's you that's not good at this.
no amount of reports can change or alter the facts on the ground.
LOL, you aren't good at this are you?
Reports from the UN and OECD generally deal with FACT.
You deal with gut feelings, hunches and beliefs..
You can produce any amount of reports you want, just be clearer on the dates but more importantly accept the reality that is the housing crisis in Ireland, no amount of reports can change or alter the facts on the ground.
I have a reports from both the UN and OECD in my corner, you have an axe to grind in yours with a gut feeling and the need to be a misery junkie about everything da guberment does in yours. I wouldn't want to swap tbh :)
Still clutching at straws, you failed miserably in your argument, didn't like being caught out and are deliberately failing to grasp the point that a housing report done in 2020 is utterly irrelevant given what's happened over the past two years.
What are the latest figures we have to compare Ireland with the rest of the world or the OECD? I know its 2022, but its 2022 in every other country too.
Why do you think those other countries have done better and Ireland has done worse? Because you have an axe to grind?
I never said there isnt an issue with housing in Ireland. But its right to say, this is a common issue across all the developed world.
Not sure he did win, actually he just confirmed his own nonsense 😉
Its similar to that time a government supporter was saying we had the highest nurses to bed ratio in Europe or the World or something like that so we shouldn't have a crisis in Health because of it.
I've stated all along these figures are from 2020 which clearly annoys you, I further stated this is 2022 and further reminded you that in any stretch of the imagination a report from 2020 on housing in Ireland is for all intensive purposes defunct & meaningless, where have you been over the past two years and this aside from the fact the report was partially collated from 2019 figures.
Had you quoted the report was from 2020 that would be fair enough, you seem to have deliberately or mistakenly forgot to mention this, Latest (2020) doesn't cut it especially in relation to housing in Ireland
If I were to do a report on the hospitality sector in 2020/2021 compared to what's going on now, people would think I was delusional with my findings in 2020/2021.
Congratulations on your huge win. Meanwhile in the real world the housing crisis still exists regardless of whether we're 8th or 38th on a list compiled by the OECD
Latest figures from 2020..
Correct, these are the latest figures. Thanks for finally acknowledging this.
Latest figures from 2020 and again the dogs in the street know there's been a seismic deterioration in the whole area in housing over the past 2 years, I don't get why you are not accepting this.
I did read it including executive summary.
I'll repeat, what are the latest figures from the OECD?
Either show them or admit you are just going on a 'hunch'.
It is tiresome and bewildering, you come in and out of the thread, make all sorts of assumptions, deflect, throw snide remarks, quote old reports and expect no one to call you out 🤔
This is tiresome....
Again, what does the LATEST report say?
If the latest report is from 2020, then that is the most up-to-date figure we have.
Id trust those figures 1000 times more than a few guys on boards.ie with an axe to grind.
There is no latest report and as I've explained and pointed out to you, you've quoted an now defunct report from 2020, I know its difficult to be called out, but it is what it is.
We can keep going, I'm free today, next silly comment 🤔
2020 is old news I'm afraid and especially in the context of the shambolic housing policy of this government, not just over 2 years but 10 🤔
Whats the latest report say??
Humour is supposed to be funny, isn't it?
O Dear, still at the whataboutery, did I say it's the media's fault they are reporting on yet more horror stories resulting from this governments incompetence.
Is it the reporting or details in the reporting that upsets you 🤔
Its the latest figures... what do you want me to do, magic up some figures just for you? It doesn't work like that Dempo. Maybe the 2021 figures will be released soon and Ill be able to show you again, that Ireland is well above average when it comes to housing and many many other metrics.
But I guess your beliefs trump facts here. ;)
Ah, it's the media's fault. How Trumpian of you, as a 'liberal'!
Again old report
Well 8th out of 38th of the best and most developed countries ain't too bad, but I guess the misery junkies need to have a moan about it regardless. Yes there are problems with housing, but debate the policy, not drive-by posts just to have a moan.
O Dear very tetchy this morning, clearly you missed my attempt at humor in response to your bombardment of analysis of previous posts, starting every silly comment with
"That's Odd"
It is odd you trawl through previous posts to make belated silly comments.
No, thats not what I am saying at all.
My point is that Ireland ranks 2nd in the HDI and 8th in the OECD for housing. While we may have problems, it ain't as bad as some misery junkies like to point out or portray that we in Ireland live in isolation and its all bad here.
Latest figures doesn't cut it I'm afraid, you are aware of what's being going on in housing ( actually not going on) over the past 2 years 🤔🤔🤔
Your in an "odd" humour today, have you spent the morning trawling back over posts from the last week, surely you've something better to do with your time on a Sunday afternoon , but nevertheless
What I do or don't do with my time ain't your business.
What has a show about pensions got to do with a show about utter nonsense about how a mother is to be discribed in legislation, a show that turned into quite possibly the most incoherent nonsense ever broadcast on RTE radio with Trans arguing against woke lunatics and has resulted in a chorus of complaints.
Its the same show isn't it? You are an avid listener, so perhaps if you don't like it, stop listening to it. Simple.
Have you responded to the OECD link you posted from 2020 🤔 as I've reminded you a lot has changed for the worse in such a short time.
Im not on call for your needs.
