Nobody is trying to make an issue out if it other than a few upset unionists and a few boards posters.. Nobody in SF cares.
Few posters here upset that people arnt up im arms over the letter is all I see and are now trying to give out she worded it carefully
I know you are in the defend SF in all situation but if "Nobody in SF cares" then why did Michelle O'Neill feel the need to put it up on twitter? why didn't she just write the letter and move on. SF media is tightly controlled and everything is thought out so yes they do care
Lots of people are making an issue out of it, as you have pointed out.
And, for someone who does not care, you are doing a lot of defending.
I must say, that as far as I am concerned, it is good to see SF supporting the British Monarchy.
SF would get more credit in my eyes if they actually knew what they stood for, at this stage it just seems to be a PR machine that changes opinion like the wind.
It's like going around for years saying Europe is terrible, Irexit etc and then posting about how great it was Mary Lou was over in Europe. F**k sake lads which is it?
Political party releasing statement which shows party in a good light , politics is gone to **** alright
Well let's face it, sadly it wouldn't exactly be seen as good a thing to do by some of their voter base but she still done it.
I haven't seen anyone criticise SF congratulating the queen. The victim mentality of SF sees offence in every comment that isn't 100% worship of SF.
As for the orange order, that was despicable, and if there was an orange order thread I would say so there.
Your first comment on it was a smart remark just to have a go at the Shinners "About time that Sinn Fein acknowledged all the help that was required to get them to see sense and abandon the PIRA terrorist campaign."
Another poster MaryAnne said she had no choice to send the letter
The letter was more sincere than anything the Irish Govt released regarding the historic election result for SF in the North
Smart remarks aren't criticism, saying that she had no choice isn't criticism either. Calling them criticism speaks to the victim mentality of SF and its supporters which I will be critical of.
As for the election, last I checked Michelle still hadn't been elected to anything as the Assembly hasn't met. If and when she is elected FM, I am sure that she will be congratulated.
Sf are grand masters of veneered platitude and praise. The Sf letter to the Queen is nothing more than a PR gig sent with plenty of hidden malice.
You cant honestly think sending kudos to the queen, for existing,in a country which closed foodbanks for the day, to celebrate her is correct
It may be appropriate thing to do,with being effectively the first minister for all the north, and with an upcoming border poll, likely to pass, there needs.to be a way to respect, those who still respect royalty and....
but to endorse this nonsense, and it is north korean levels of fcuking weird whats going on over there at the min....while so many go hungry thanks to royalty existing, simply rots the soul of any reasonable person
Sorry and maybe it’s just me but I didn’t understand what you are trying to say?
And then submits them to the Army Council for approval?
Good job the general public can see through the petty snipes at SF. Keep it up
When will Fine Gael get it into their collective thick skulls that these predictable Sunday morning attack Sinn Fein tweets actually bolster support for Sinn Fein? The comments under the video are enough. Slow learners.
The Queen running for FG next election?
Well, my friend, the general public can certainly see through the SF opposition to the SCC.
The ‘Good Republicans’ might be looking over their shoulders a wee bit.
The only data available suggests SF are gaining support so any proof to the general public turning against them over the SCC?
most people couldn't care a less about SF'S former opposition to the SCC.
sure, if pretending to be in favour of it now helps in any way i can put up with it as an SF voter but once they get in to power i expect they might consider finally doing the right thing and eradicating it once and for all.
ya reckon a "political party" deeply embedded in crime and criminality isnt an issue ? that it didnt cause sf to flip flop on the issue , still a long way to go before irish people forget about yer crimes mo chara
your even admitting that they are being deceptive by pretending to be in favour of the scc
i think its a bit early for you to be letting the auld terrorist/criminal mask slip dont you ?
That new red backed star logo for FG looks a bit Putin-like. SF seems to be concentrating on Housing, Health and the cost of living but FG just don't care about ordinary people.
Regards...jmcc
First 2 words tweeted by their twitter account on a bank holiday Sunday?
"Sinn Fein"
If FG keeps on with this kind of stuff, SF will be around 40% in the opinion polls soon. It makes SF look like the alternative to FG. In the past it was FF.
sf are not involved in crime and criminality.
an increasing vote share says the general public have moved on from the past and want to move forward hence will vote for sf, the party of law and order and physcal responsibility.
Yes, we are getting glimpses of what a SF government would be like, crack down on free speech, silence opposition, a party of law and order like Franco's.
And who conducted this poll to arrive at that conclusion?
Perhaps you don't know much about Irish history but it was one of the parties (Eoin O'Duffy and the Blueshirts/Army Comrades Association) that merged to form FG that was fighting on the side of Franco in the Spanish Civil War. (Eoin O'Duffy was the first leader of FG.)
well your first line has been proved to be a lie on multiple occasions on this thread alone,
party of law and order ? jesus is that a sick joke ? , still a party of murders and gangsters and putin fanboys
is assume you mean fiscal responsibility ?
also debunked , there is no magic money tree just some terrorists and criminals who dont understand economic realities and desperate young voters who might fall for the lies
you better check with the army council for your opinion before you go posting again
You should take a peek at that Fine Gael attack Sinn Fein video, that female FG rep boasting that "Fine Gael are the party of law and order".
About 100 comments pointing out the irony in her making that claim, while the leader of her party is currently under an active criminal investigation.
my first line has been proven correct i am afraid for you.
sf are going to be the government north and south soon and everyone who will vote for them know what they are voting for and are happy to vote for them, the same as i have been happy to vote for them since i was able to vote, knowing what i was voting for.
