As I said our life expectancy is up, our crime rates are down. The rubbish posted here is trying to push a different narrative and has nothing to back it up.

Not afraid of anything, at least I will answer questions, unlike some. I am trying to figure where exactly the government are doing a good job because as far as I can see every single thing the government is responsible for from health, law and order, education, etc are struggling to deliver the services that they are responsible for. I suppose you are ok with huge waiting lists for treatments, gardai who wont take emergency calls or when they do don't turn up, or an education system creaking at the seams that failing our most vulnerable.
Zero response to the regular pleas by the INMO for better working conditions? Did you miss that bit twice?

Over 8,680 patients have been without a bed in Irish hospitals in May according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Monthly TrolleyWatch figures.

“The Minister for Health must make good on his proposed expert review of University Hospital Limerick. It has been over a month since he announced a review would take place, yet no terms of reference have been published or meetings have been scheduled with this union.
“Nurses and other healthcare staff cannot be expected to sustain this type of pressure all throughout the summer. If the Government and HSE are serious about retaining those who already work in the health service, meaningful action must be taken to ensure safe care conditions for both patients and staff. No nurse wants to have to care for patients in sub-optimal conditions.

...and its not just with the public sector, as we actually have incredible people working in the private sector also, of which many took incredible risks during covid, to go to work, without which we would also have been in serious trouble if they didnt
again, its clearly obvious we re in serious trouble, but our political institutions are lost, this wont be easy nor quick to resolve

We have a huge amount of people who are working in the public service who are doing an excellent job. I had to available of the services of the HSE recently due to an accident, the staff from start to finish absolutely brilliant including a consultant who came in over weekend to threat my family member. This is what you don't hear about.
Then you have people on here insulting the work these people are doing. Ask anyone in the HSE and they will tell you they know it has issues but they still work hard and don't deserve some person at the other end of a computer slagging them off
And when pulled up on it you have other making some waffling excuses.
We have the people and that is a huge starting point. The HSE is just an example, the Gardai are the same etc.
