Verdict in this is being read at 8pm apparently. Someone's about to lose a lot of money.
Lol. Mad stuff altogether.
Thank you, I wasn't really following case 😏
Or that two different jurisdictions looking at different evidence and answering different legal questions came to different decisions.
Fantastic!
Lol
Lol. Free speech? Ah come on now.
She's **** nuts.
How was everyone online so sure about Depp being innocent, and Heard being vile? I'm not contesting it, but most people in Ireland don't really follow Depp's personal life and yet everyone was so adamant..
I was just surprised about the certainty. What sort of indicators did people go by to know that Depp was innocent?
Oh. Only people she tags or follows can comment on her tweet 😡
Probably by the evidence.
She'll always remember this day as the day she almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow.
Depp statement being read out on news channels
Not really. Johnny Depp was contesting in the UK that he was a 'wife beater' as written in The Sun, which he lost.
This case proved Amber Heard was no saint herself and that in itself is a win for Depp, no doubt about that.
I just found the whole thing so toxic and even the online commentary that came with it. Would make people on boards look reasonable.
Ah, I stand corrected.
How did so many people in Ireland understand Virgina defimation law and the 1st amendment of the American constitution?
I was completly lost and had no idea what the result would be as they didn't cover that in the trial until the final deliberations.
Read somewhere she took a sh1t in the bed, if its true she deserved to loose for that alone.
Very confusing 😁 but still a good result for Depp 😏
In a statement, Depp celebrated his victory in his defamation lawsuit against Heard:
"Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also, the lives of the people who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed.
All in the blink of an eye.
False, very serious and criminal allegations were levied at me via the media, which triggered an endless barrage of hateful content, although no charges were ever brought against me. It had already traveled around the world twice within a nanosecond and it had a seismic impact on my life and my career.
And six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled.
My decision to pursue this case, knowing very well the height of the legal hurdles that I would be facing and the inevitable, worldwide spectacle into my life, was only made after considerable thought.
From the very beginning, the goal of bringing this case was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome. Speaking the truth was something that I owed to my children and to all those who have remained steadfast in their support of me. I feel at peace knowing I have finally accomplished that.
I am, and have been, overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and the colossal support and kindness from around the world. I hope that my quest to have the truth be told will have helped others, men or women, who have found themselves in my situation, and that those supporting them never give up. I also hope that the position will now return to innocent until proven guilty, both within the courts and in the media.
I wish to acknowledge the noble work of the Judge, the jurors, the court staff and the Sheriffs who have sacrificed their own time to get to this point, and to my diligent and unwavering legal team who did an extraordinary job in helping me to share the truth.
The best is yet to come and a new chapter has finally begun.
Veritas numquam perit.
Truth never perishes."
13 million worse off… and her dog stepped on a bee…. Poor Amber.
I’d imagine she’ll appeal though.. you’d have to imagine that would be quite the bulk of her worth. In fact reading now that a lot of the more credible news media reflect her value to be in the region of 15 million, but all speculation..
Probably several hundred grand in legal expenses too
Most people probably weren't aware of the defamation law or the intricacies of the American constitution.
But from the facts that were presented and how they were presented, you wouldn't need to be a legal eagle to recognise that she was a vile woman. Depp isn't an angel by any stretch and there certainly was two of them in it, but she was making out that she was the victim.
It was clear she wasn't.
Yeah exactly, also the hate for her seemed happen straight away, before the case even happened. It was almost like she has a history of doing things like this deceitfully that people knew about?
My daughter and I both followed a former LA District Attorney who live streamed the trial with commentary every day. It was fascinating and quite addictive.
I can't wait until she does the Jen Shah trial next.
Wonder what people would think if she lost this case first and the uk one second, probably woukd have been better for her career. Is Depp only considered a wife beater in the uk then?
Legal Teams are coming out to make a statement.... live.

It seemed like a fairly sizable anti-Heard crowd grew as soon as this case was declared.
Let's not forget that Amber was exposed by Camille Vasquez during the trial when it was learned that Amber promised about 7 million dollars to two charities after the divorce settlement from Depp, but never paid it. Instead, kept it to fund her lifestyle.
This is the kind of despicable person Heard is.
She deserves to lose every last penny. And her sister can kiss goodbye to her lifestyle, too.
Fantastic news. This wasn't a personality competition. Depp's team overwhelmingly proved his case.
Jeff had a tonne of support from a lot of women…ex girlfriends, co-stars, other industry friends all of whom have pretty much positive reputations and are so it seems, upstanding citizens….all of whom backed him..
Classy lady.
Was it a too much to drink type ‘**** the bed’ or an intentional evacuation?
not sure what this shows about the UK jury/how the trial was presented cos the burden was higher in the US.
Ah ok, and that would have been fairly public even before the trial.. that makes sense.
So the whole trial thing and presenting evidence to establish an argument passed you by then?
