Sadly RTE is afraid of its own PC shadow, therefore some topics cannot be balanced at all. The Traveller issue for example, can't say anything to countermand Pavee Point. Similar with racial issues, cannot mention the race of a murderer or the colour of a suspect. And so on. This leads to total blandness and I for one have thrown in the towel with them all. Sarah Mac was/is impressive, but she must not be a member of yer man's stable, whatsis name.
As for her radio show, CB is not listened to in our house. We just look back on the app for the topics covered and break our hearts laughing.

It's hard to think 2015 is 7 years ago. A lot has happened during that time in fairness. Time is going too fast
17 security people didn't turn up apparently was what caused the problems yesterday according to a DAA spokesman on Today FM earlier. The airport took in over €400k in passenger fees yesterday and 17 people not being around brought the whole place down, a complete joke. The airport knows months in advance the flights and plane sizes due each day.
Falite Ireland must be seething over the airport debacle and the coverage its getting (apart from Joe duffy who avoided it like the plague) , got a mention in the new York Times I believe. Four hours for passengers from Canada to get their bags earlier .
You just have to laugh over this airport thing. Seems a lot of it is embarrassment of making Ireland look bad from the perspective of foreigners rather than actually having a proper service for both tourists and Irish people.
I saw and RTE article earlier saying with hotel cost, car rental cost and now this, tourists won't be happy. Irish citizens are more important.
