Doesn't look like there's a thread yet (sorry for the lack of an intro 😁)
Danny Ric in the barriers in FP2
Pitwall: "Is the car all right?"
Danny Ric: "Em, I'm all right"
😬
Found a bit of wet on the track I think.
Mick is out of his depth. Can’t see him in F1 next season.
The tecpro really seems to grab the cars by the wheel and split them like that.
Glad he's OK. Haas really can't catch a break.
Surprised the rear came off the Haas
Never saw the other Haas retire
They have never mentioned the Max incident again, and they said there was also something to look at with Perez's exit.
The onboard from Max looked over, but not conclusive.
This needs a red flag.
The graphics aren't Sky's department but they've been bloody terrible this year for providing information.
Has to be Full Red - the location means the cars can't go around the corner while they work on it, although they seem able to atm.
At least he's ok. Strange crash, it looked like the barrier grabbed the car like velcro
No. Track looks clear.
If him crossing the line (I didn't see any replays so I'm guessing) was so he could block off LeClerc then he could absolutely find himself in trouble. I do remember LeClerc was right up his gearbox.
Or he might not. I think it's a great race so far so have at it.
They are managing quite well, with Monaco there are cranes everywhere, just a bit of sweeping up to do now.
Still no "Car 1 under investigation" message
He only crossed the line as he was pushing hard to get out in front of Leclerc and lost the rear a bit.
As Brundle says, the throttle works both ways, should be a penalty as that's the only reason he is ahead of Leclerc.
As he turned there was a snap on the car.
We have seen drivers cut across pit entry and no penalty.
Strange he lost it in the first place, didn't seem to be a clear reason
Another safety car after this and the race will be shortened. Those inexplicable 5 minutes could end up making a difference.
For a race with so little overtaking possibilities, there has been a lot of movement up and down.
Could do with seeing an external replay of Verstappen leaving, he seemed to cut left and then right. More interested in the weaving/blocking aspect than the yellow line.
There is a red flag,
For the barrier.
This race won't make anywhere near the distance.
Why are they putting out the red flag now?
Anyone got fresh softs or mediums to stick on now with the free tyre change?
Has there been any explanation for Mag's retirement?
Charles on a mission there, his team are in for an earful
Red flag to repair the barrier. I mean I can kind of understand that.
And no more rain which is good.
A leak of some sort its seems.
Water pressure problem
Not surprised with the red flag, too dangerous to get all the debris, especially from the first impact.
They should be giving the 10 minute warning now.
Yeah it used to be a black and white rule but they threw that out the window last year by saying if it’s a wet track and you do it accidentally it’s ok. I said it was stupid to set that precedent at the time, but it happened and that’s the precedent now so if they’re going to be consistent they can’t give penalties for the same thing now.
