There were some rumours in recent weeks about moves behind the scenes from Liberty to try and take full control of the sport from the FIA, maybe paying them off and giving them a ceremonial role rather than a practical one. If true, it can’t happen soon enough. The different in competence between the progress Liberty have made with the sport in the last few years and the endless idiotic FIA decisions that have held it back is stark.
