Looks like it went up at €200 and people couldn’t add it to cart, then went to €210 and the store crashed.
I logged on at 12.04 , and the bottle is still "adding to cart"

Yeah I think that’s what happened before they changed the price. There was an email that said it was €210 but the site showed €200. Seems it wouldn’t add to cart at €200 and then the website crashed shortly afterwards.

Not after expenses are taken into account. Probably more like €25 an hour.
I don't know. There seems to be no end to the idiocy induced by MVR.
It only went for between €270 and €310 in recent auctions. But people seem to think they'll make a fortune on it alright, fuelling the rush that we see.
I've a bottle of 2021 left, that I'm just thinking of opening, rather than hanging onto this time.
Just looking into membership of the midleton barrel club there. 499euro annual fee. You get a gift every quarter in the popst of some whiskey which includes a 70cl bottle each time.

Not that I know of, may depend more on the relationship you have with people there. Happy to be proven wrong though.

No....It does not. (to date anyway).
You get some 50ml samples each time too. People seem to think it's work it. I know I would have really enjoyed the John's Lane cask strength they had recently.
I believe they got first refusal to midleton very rare 2022. But other then that no, 3 samples are included in each set also.
Noticed a lot more people selling the sets on for profit recently. Hopefully doesn't meant a price increase from midleton.
I didn't. There will be an offer of a 2023 to people who renewed after the first 12 months. The second years bottles (IMO) are more interesting.

Only when I open the box unless someone gets a delivery before me and puts it on facebook ! IDL do teasers etc beforehand but do not announce in advance. My opinion is based on recent shipments.
