"Evacuating" would suggest they have the best interests of the evacuees at heart, but many of those Ukrainian people who subsequently got away from them say they were treated harshly by them (aggressive interrogations and so on) and more like enemy combatants than innocent civilians.

I think the fact that we're witnessing an active genocide/ethnic cleansing is the fresh bucket of water we need to remind ourselves of how serious this is. The trolls jump up and down to crow about how public interest is waning, how Russia's falling from the headlines. I'm not saying higher fuel prices aren't a problem or any of the other extraneous effects of this war, but it pales into complete insignificance vs. what the people of Ukraine in those occupied areas must be enduring, and the areas getting bombarded with shellfire.
Lithuanian journalist is raising money to buy Bayraktar. Received a go ahead from Lithuanian and Turkish governments and manufacturer. Previously he raised over 300k in 1day to buy military helmets, vests and other safety gear. During another fundraising - 370k for surveillance drone, also in 1 day.

Could I ask you what your definition is of what is happening to the Ukrainian citizens being forcibly removed from their own country by Russia? Or maybe some comments in the Ukrainian citizens murdered by Russia during their "special operation"? What is it exactly you think is happening in Ukraine to the citizens of Ukraine?
Like many I completely underestimated Ukrainian resistance at the beginning and also the amount of military assistance they'd get and I admit as much and am glad to have been proved wrong.
At the same time, some posters here were a month ago confidently predicting that Russia was rapidly being chased right out of Ukraine and that's proved to be equally wrong.
Unfortunately what we now have is a long and brutal war of attrition and even the Ukrainians are admitting that they are struggling in the east and in desperate need of more and better weapons. I hope they'll prevail but right now things are looking a bit bleak.
Timmy thinks its a holiday.
And wants to be transported virtually in a live feed video format so he can judge any other outcome or opposition to this fact himself.
If there is it is well hidden. There's not even an edit icon.
Russians mention it?You really believe Russia would mention they have 1 million people from Ukraine here in filtration camps?
Its mentioned in OSCE report on Russias war crimes and human rights violations

Click on drafts
Click on 'x' to right hand side of message you want to delete
To edit:
Click alongside the post number in the thread
That only works to delete drafts (I've bookmarked boards.ie/drafts, same thing.) Once the post is published, it's permanent, I think posters are just editing it and substituting '...' for the text and republishing. Also, you have just 1 day to edit.
I know.
You cant just delete a post at any time after publishing it.
Too many doing that and it would fcuk threads up completely. i.e...people who had responded to posts that are now no longer there.
I see reports that Belarus are supplying Russia with weapons. Could that be a way to beat western sanctions, Belarus buys weapons and then Russia buys from them.
Well, if Germany, Frnace, Hungary and Italy were independent nations from EU, so then you would see how much cooperative with others and supporting Ukraine they would be...
No-one stops any country from helping, if they wish to...
Who'd Belarus be buying off? I'd be pretty surprised if it was any of the Western arms manufacturers that have already blocked Russia.
I'd say Lukashenko is looking rather nervously on and figuring if he's backed the wrong side in all this.
Only Belarus is broke and also under sanctions.
The latest putin super weapon has arrived in eastern Ukraine the 1961 T62 tank .
The Ukrainians must be quaking
Its probably more like Putin says "Hey Lukashenko,I need all your weapons.Don't worry, I'll give them back to you next week when I beat the Nazi's"....Lukashenko say's "Hmmmm...Ok,I'll get back to you about that"
Won't be long before they start bringing their archers out
Belarus supplying weapons... naaa, not unless its a few clapped out yokes from the 60's. On another note, I hope Europe does not fall for the peace talks crap from Putin. He wants to buy time and nothing more. Keep the pressure on, and if Joe from the white house could get away with it he should authorise some kind of stealth ops to reclaim one of those ports in the est. Sadly the White House now has a lot of domestic things to get it attention. Bit of a worry in my opinion. Maybe Poland might be able to help? It is clear that Ukraine needs heavy weapons to get back its ports. Those MIGs would be mighty handy now. The Ukraine [and europe] can't sit and wait indefinitely for this, the sooner the better. If Russia continues to steal stuff then I say sink those ships that are involved in state-sponsored organised crime.
Really, what they all are taking...
This has about as much credibility as a Traveller call out video.
It’s good that you at least admit you were wrong to say the US said no ethnic cleansing was taking place.
The rest of what you say on the matter is simply your speculation/interpretation. I don’t share that belief.
Hah! Exactly 😂
According to "Ukrainian Pravda", billionaire Rinat Akhmetov instructed his lawyers to start collecting documents that will be used in filing lawsuits against the Russian Federation. The businessman wants Russia to compensate for the losses he has suffered as a result of the Russian military's attacks on Ukraine.
The cost of restoring only the Ilyich and Azovstal Metallurgical Plants will be between $ 17 and $ 20 billion.
It will be interesting to see how many of these "filtered" individuals, who gladly moved to Russia, are actually in these mass graves....
But I suppose they're fiction too
He looks like 1990s Fred Durst and is about as intimidating. Gobshoite.
