Its a tough one. If they can distance themselves from the alledged criminals and cronies in FG they might do reasonably okay. I'll be surprised if FG get more than half the seats they have now. Of the two FF will defo be on top.

No comments on the FG'er senator and spokesperson, charged with assault. People are pointing out the complete lack of credibility and pretend outrage perpetrated by some.

I honestly can't see how FG plan to come back after they're gone. Usually they older ones retire and the younger generation step in. Those lot (except Leo) plan on being there for a long time, and each one more useless than the last. Helen McEntee is beyond useless. So, if I have this correct.. She campaigned to get them to change the name to reflect the sh*t service, instead of campaigning to get them to fix it/upgrade it.

Between 30 -35% of income is what is considered the rule of thumb on rent being affordable.

So what’s affordable?
There is an online service already for renewals and it was decent at one time , I got passport renewed via online , mid 2019 , had new one back in a week. It would seem every option including online is a mess and has been for over two years now . Pandemic may have caused initial delays but its not as if people were travelling for the best part of 14 month's.
Upgrade parts, or whatever needs doing to get it up to 'express'. Nobody to my knowledge is 'het up' about it. It was a comment referring to another post about how useless another TD is. But... If I were to choose to get 'het up' about the that sort of nonsense for the wages they are on etc.. I wouldn't let your opinion of whether or not I should, stop me.

Seriously a name change on a dreadful service is going to make the slightest bit of difference , utter codswallop. The fact they are agreeing to remove "Express" from the name of the service suggests its not an express service.
Interestingly I heard Miss Higgins on the radio on Monday talking about this , she also said there's an online option and it's €5 cheaper, in essence encouraging people to NOT use the PO , this i found very odd when a month ago , Heather Humphries and indeed Hildegarde Naughton making all sorts of promises in support of the PO , indeed Hildegarde Naughton last week, proposing a €1000 per month stipend for post master's.
