The chorus is catchy..Bayraktar!
I imagine he read the same security report that was widely published in the press.
Colleagues?
Friends a better word?

Did you just slip New York into your list to check if anyone really reads the posts on here? 🙂
Didn't get mentioned yesterday but 4Russian and Chinese fighter aircraft and bombers flew into the south Korean air defense zone several times , while south Korea was hosting a conference between Biden and Yoon Suk-yeol
If looking likely Russia is definitely going to have a go at Odessa or close to it by going by yesterdays activity off the coast of Ukraine

Yet Putin's most valuable assets have been people like Merkel, Scholz, Schroeder and others at the top of European politics.
Funding smaller movements was junior work. The focus was on controlling people at the very top of Europe and the Russians were incredibly successful at that.
They're bringing out the dinosaurs https://twitter.com/CoraxBzh/status/1529394393366401024?s=20&t=gOV7xSrmrdRPhgbYmxvjJQ
Apparently they will let food leave, in return for ... surprise, surprise - lifting of some sanctions.
Yeah they announced their forces had cleared mines from Mariupol port and international shipping would begin again aka Ukrainian grain being loaded on to Russian ships to sell to allies
If the Somali pirates are still in action there may be some work for them.
Putin has been part of the political elite for the past 22 years or more and has existed in the worlds media as an acceptable world leader for most of that time yet only in the last 3 months has he revealed himself as a Hitler level tyrant. That in itself is extraordinary and I struggle to think of parallels in history. The strategic murder and poisonings were always there but were carried out in such a way that it remained almost under the radar.
He hasn't been acceptable by Western standards for many years. Swapping the presidency with Medvedev in 2008 was a very clear sign that he was already an autocrat by then, 14 years ago.
He's also not at Hitler-level yet because thankfully Russia doesn't have the conventional warmongering capacity of 1939 Germany. He might still achieve that status, but it will only be via nukes and we probably won't be comparing them on the internet if that happens.
Why would the Ukrainians be "genocided out of existence" if they surrender?
But by that reasoning then so were the OUN, UPA, Bandera, SS Galicia etc
He started off being part of the elite by doing exactly what he is doing now; blasting Chechnya to pieces and putting in a new regime that answers only to him. The world just didn't care
Because that is what is happening in occupied areas at best millions are being ethnically cleansed and are being sent against their will to Siberia

Russian history book of the future generations
Russian troops shelled Avdiyivka, Pisky, Maryinka, Orikhiv and Novosilka. Russian aviation conducted airstrikes at Kamianka, Avdiyivka and Novomykhailivka, - General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine says in the morning report
This must be seriously encouraging for the Ukrainians to see. According to some anlaysis, the Russians are a few months away from running out of tanks.
Whether they can continue to advance with just artillery and meat vans remains to be seen. Tactically, how dependant are they on their MBTs in Ukraine?
"I can't speak to how many camps or what they look like," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters when asked about statements from Kyiv that some 1.2 million Ukrainians were being sent to Russia and placed in camps.
...
But that figure has since ballooned to more than 1.19 million, including at least 200,000 children, Ukraine's ombudswoman Lyudmyla Denisova said.
Kirby stopped short of describing the deportations as ethnic cleansing, stressing it was not the Pentagon's place to make such determinations. But he said there was abundant evidence of "Russian brutality" during the war.
Probably to tie up forces, but indeed could be real.
Russia more focussed now ?
We have been hearing the Russian army was supposed to collapse for a while now... is it actually likely ? or will it forever be a few weeks/months away.
Yeah, they are making more gains in the East, likely with more to come. Despite all their horrendous issues, it's impossible they haven't learnt lessons, they are still very potent.
from reading this forum, I was certain that a Russian collapse was imminent. So many posters couldn't be all wrong, could they.
