Clerical Officer in the Civil Service 2022 | Civil Service - publicjobs.ie
Anyone know what number they are at for customs positions
Totally normal. It works a bit differently to the private sector. Everyone is always applying for different competitions and people are very open about it. You even see some people working on forms during work hours.
You'd often see people starting a job and being whisked away a few weeks later because they got a better role within the civil service.
Yeah you can apply for the EO campaign they encourage you to push yourself.
Hi I'm new to the thread but I've been offered an interview for the CO 2022 role and I was wondering does anyone have a copy of the candidate booklet they can post here? I was sure I had downloaded it .....Thanks in advance
Here you go....
Hi @ladz I have my interview for CO next week also if you could PM me some of the interview info it would be a great help. TIA
Hi all what number are they at on the panel around the counties? Thanks. I'm on waterford panel.
@competition they were somewhere in the late 80s on the Waterford panel a few weeks ago. I'm 121, so I'm hoping to be interviewed soon.
Feel like I'm being ghosted by my contact at PAS at clearing stage everything's in, vetting done etc but no replies to my emails in 3 days, I was emailing to confirm something was received. Is this bad? Can they remind the job now at this point. Lol
Hi everyone , does anyone know what OOM number they are on for cork interviews ?
hi anyone hear anything from Longford.
Thanks for the update thats great
Thank you 👍👍🤞
Hey guys, I’m on the Dublin panel and I was contacted about clearance on Monday. My dept is An Garda Siochana! Anyone else get this?
Congratulations on being assigned! I hope your clearance doesn’t take long and you get to start asap 😊 I’m in the low 1000s in Dublin myself - really hoping I’m assigned by the end of the Summer!
That is amazing
@reginaphalange2022
congrats that’s amazing good luck !
out of interest did they give you your department before vetting and clearance? I got my vetting and clearance email last Monday my vetting is still in process were you waiting long for yours if you’ve completed?
I’m the very same
Just been assigned to revenue..
Any idea what job entails, wfh, flexibility etc.?
my progress hasn’t moved in a couple of days but they did say 1-2 weeks in my recent contact with PAS so I’m not expecting much this week maybe next 🙏🏽… have your references been contacted ?
Just to follow on from a query above. Do you get assigned a department and know where you are going before you have to give references details?
yes They’ve been contacted and all that just waiting to be assigned somewhere hopefully it’s not to long away now for yourself.
You could be anywhere. There's 6000 people in Revenue so hard to day what your job would be.
But generally they're good at flexibility and they've kept everyone working full time at home until the WFH plan is properly in place. Probably September before back in the office. But this depends on your job, if uppe assigned somewhere like Customs you could be out at the ports or something.
Hey any idea oom there at now on competiton for dublin? Waiting on interview and early 2000
I start with Revenue mid June ski will let you know I'm a nervous wreck about it. Where are u based.
Hi, Can you message me? your account is private so I can't send it.
@furrybones Thank you very much
I'll take any advice or tips too if you want to share it :D
