Miguel's audio at an all time level of **** today
Had to laught at Ken starting with Saipan on the football podcast π
His cupla focal at the end of the GAA podcast also made me chuckle
I thought his questioning of the A/I timings were a bit staged TBH. Seemed like Murph wanted to vent and as Eoin wasn't there, they set it up via Ken.
Lots of it is staged most likely. They don't just arrive and chat. They sometimes know how the conversation will go and how to steer the conversation.
That audio of Pep "crying" when aguero is both the most pathetic and hilarious things I've heard. Steve Coogan wouldn't even write it for Alan Partridge as it's just too far even for him. I'd listen to ken and murph talking about it for an entire show
Listening to Ken talking to Murph about any sport other than soccer is hilarious. It's like Murph is trying to explain hurling to some drunk yank in a pub
Murph getting offended at any vaguely negative comment about Galway is pretty funny.
I had to burst out laughing when Ken couldn't remember the name of the hurling trophy.
And not knowing that his beloved Dubs were out.
Even if it felt a bit scripted, they need to make more Ken + Murph GAA podcasts. Best GAA episode I've heard from them
I'd rather to listen to Ken talk GAA with Murph than any of the pundits.
Ken was a bit worse for wear on Fridays podcast. Are we going to see a second captains intervention ?
Ken's match report Monday should be interesting.
Is he there? I didn't hear much this week so not sure if he mentioned one way or the other...
Yeah. Was quite hungover on Friday's pod
He's there!
They'd hardly send him to Paris just to not go to the game.
Now Monday definitely will be good!
I wonder if Kloop will receive a similar critical review of European failures that Pep did. Four European final defeats is abysmal. Especially when compared to Joseβs 5/5 record.
Murph's jinx on Roscommon worked perfectly today.
Ken's comments the other day about the Late Late Show were hilarious. Watching the Late Late Show means you have failed at life π
At least Klopp won one and got to 3 finals. Whereas Pep at City, one final and zero wins,so not really like for like
Pep also failed at Bayern. Did well at Barca but he did have possibly the greatest team of all time
I hope they report in the chaos. Reading The Athletic this morning, it really was a **** show. The lack of policing, closing gates, funnelling all down narrow streets and the scenes afterwards likened to The Walking Dead. Must have been very painful and poignant for Liverpool fans.
Which show was this? Missed a couple last week.
Wouldn't mind listening to that.
And (sigh) doing some reflecting.
I would definitely think kloop has the better record when compared to the resources that pep has had at his disposal and also semi finals being two legged , itβs just that one win out of 5 euro finals is a glaringly bad statistic for kloop.
Sorry, can't remember, doesn't seem to be mentioned in any of the episode descriptions either.
Why do they have Miguel Delaney on so much? The guy is awful and comes across very smarmy. They have so much better football contributors then him. I guess he must be a mate of Kens...
They are mates
Never really got all the hate for Miguel Delaney, hes seems like a middle of the road contributor. Then again, I don't care about the world of social media so I avoid a lot of that bullshit.
I like him
He is a garbage guest, his sound quality is also garbage. Every story he's on for he has to know "someone in the camp". According to him he has sources in every club he covers. I'm nearly certain he said it for Madrid and PSG this season as well as all the English clubs etc.
His best friend McKenna also uses that line also. He even claims he has a source in the Dublin camp who feeds him information, which is hilarious
