That's exactly the point. From what we know of monkeypox there is no need for any public health measures beyond mere guidance so introducing anything more than that would raise red flags.
A politician or health body like a nurse's union and by restrictions I mean restrictions on the general public rather than just guidance and to one group.
Define person of prominance and define restrictions.
Uh. Why would governments place restrictions for Monkeypox if there's no need for them?
How is the above not a repeat of precisely the same drooling conspiracy nonsense we've seen in this thread? Individuals sharing a paranoid hysteria that their TDs want to place restrictions on them for ulterior nefarious reasons they can never explain.
A CTer admit they are wrong??
Never
Ah, so now the the loonies are calling the measures "semi-permanent"!
Like being semi-pregnant? Or semi-dead?
Embarrassing yet again for the dumb Facebook researchers.
Can we call it now?
OP should admit they were wrong & change the tread title.
Okay, I'll go for this; given the spread of monkeypox has been to date primarily associated with MSM and it is Pride month in June, this will dovetail with the hysteria-ometer being ratcheted up. If we can get through June without anyone with any prominence calling for some form of restrictions then I will call time of death on a monkeypox conspiracy. However, if there are some calls (particularly from Irish politicians) for restrictions of some sort, during June, I will start to become very sceptical about their motives. Why? Because monkeypox is not a disease which demands any sort of restrictions.
"look at the Late Late Show"
LOL
CTers have eventually jumped the shark !!!
Cool. You're already moving onto the next conspiracy grift.
Why should we take your claims about this any more seriously than you claims about covid?
You're just stealing the same shite from the same twitter assholes. You are just repeating the same stuff again.
You don't at all seem phased or concerned that you were completely wrong the last time around.
You keep demonstrating how conspiracy theorists do not think for themselves.
Jaysus no!! Then they'll think I'm not doing any work!
yawn... thats so last week buzz buzz
Anyone that believes that this BS is over is a lost cause its far from it, look up whats up next, Monkey pox! WHO pandemic treaty coming very soon, this week, which will mean our children will be enslaved by the corrupt greedy Big Pharma for the rest of their lives.
it could do with a wash.
I remember the good old days, you could post anywhere and wear what you want, these days we have to wear full hi-viz PPE to post, it's health and safety gone mad I tells ya.
You on the Soros money ya flash fècker!! Only a lowly Bill Gates employee myself, although the annual tea parties are quite nice.
George Soros paying people to post on internet forums that are read by about 5 people. Astute!
>>to disguise the fact that I am getting paid to make conspiracy theorists look bad
they manage that all on their own.
Yup, I set my account up in August 2014 and have made over 23k posts in many different threads on this just to disguise the fact that I am getting paid to make conspiracy theorists look bad 🤣🤣🤣
Dunno who the biggest loons are, the C.Ters who make the idiotic claims or the fan boys who claim anyone questioning a C.T is getting paid to post.
Sorry, are you tossing out the same tired accusation that people are being paid to post here?
If so, please back that up with something?
Don't do what the others do and run away from this accusation because you can't actually defend it. That would be massively dishonest and cowardly.
Delighted to see the usual contracts got extended here. A nicely little earner for some.
Holy wall of bullshìt batman 🤣
lol. Its over man. Enjoy your life.
As was widely expected, life is back to normal. The vast majority of us followed the guidelines laid down by experts, protected ourselves and others, and got on with it. Now we are over it. I lived my life today no different to 2019 except I wore a mask in a doctor's office which, when you look at it, is a fantastic idea when others around you could be sick OR you could be sick and you're stopping it from spreading. Same with hospitals.

No, I'm trying to get you to make definite falsifiable statements that don't allow for weaseling and justifying down the line to avoid admitting that your prediction failed.
You aren't even confident enough in your claims to suggest a deadline.
Lol. The restrictions have been lifted man.
You're so desperate that you have to invent some made up story.
Just admit you were wrong and you were duped by grifters. There's no shame in that.theres lots of shame in clinging to obviously failed predictions and lying to do so.
Somebody in the comments above was wondering what I am at now. Well I have written a few other threads on boards but they usually get deleted or closed early, so 'est la vie and all that!
But you know for many people the restrictions have not eased at all much. Have you see the Late Late Show, tried to get into a hospital or even doctor's surgery breathing normally without that hindrance? I was told recently, I don't know how true it is, that a woman has been admitted to St Loman's psychiatric hospital in Mullingar because when she was in labour she refused the mask and PCR test. Meanwhile the situation is off the charts in China and some countries are now reintroducing everything on the basis of monkeypox.
Personally I think we have almost lost this fight, in the sense that we have lost the right to our bodily integrity, the right to breathe normally, and we lost it because people complied with a tyrannous government. I hope at some point that might stop doing that and then we can fight back!
The next trouble on the horizon could be a nuclear standoff in Israel/Iran or elsewhere, so I think the mechanics of nuclear fallout is what we should all be studying anois!
The CT is that they were permanent. How did that work out? And, again, to what end would they introduce semi-permanent measures? If you can't even answer that there isn't much to discuss
