How? As it's a free vote, the TDs won't be disciplined, the motion won't lead to a confidence motion, it's all SF showbiz, nothing of consequence.
The Market Value would have been a lot less when this debacle started, what about the apparent €50million already spent before a single brick laid, but of course there was also the possibility of gifting the site to the State, you know make up for the amount the state has paid out in compensation albeit the state as culpable as religious orders and the Catholic Church.
Well-placed Green sources have confirmed that expulsion is unlikely but both TDs could lose the whip.
The government has 82 TDs and losing Ms Hourigan and Mr Costello would reduce this to 80, the number needed for a bare majority

You're right. 9 years on from the NMH announcement and 5 years on from the forecasted completion date (2018), it's fair to say that it's been a stellar performance by Fine Gael. Another big success story to add to the list.

It's Extraordinary , €140k subsidies to developers building apartments and now , for existing public contracts 70% contribution towards increases costs. I'm reminded of the days of the Galway Tents .
