Wasn't writing them off, a little disappointed were not getting more well known bands. I'll definitely give them a listen and see what the craic is
It's just that certain user has a knife out for me and at any opportunity will slate me
Starcrawler are great, perfect late afternoon at a festival/warm up act. Shame they're not playing their own gig as I doubt they will ever tour here by themselves. If I can pick up a ticket for 30 quid I'd go and leave before MCR.
I think people who write off support acts are just event junkies who want every band to have a few bits they know to sing along to. I've discovered about 90% of the music I listen to in the last decade through support slots.
People slate you when you talk rubbish which is very frequent You only seem to go to gigs in order to tick them off your list and if that band doesn't play the greatest hits you get very upset.
Sorry the way you had followed it up by saying Bloody UK one would assume part of the moan, especially after acknowledging Placebo were very unlikely in an earlier post before it was confirmed.
Ya me too seen plenty of quality low on bills over the years, I reckon you will defo pick up cheap tickets for this on the day.
None your or anyones business what way I perceive gigs that I spend my own money on
It can be a little frustrating seeing support bands of a better calibre in other countries time after time
Have you considered not living on a tiny island where the cost of playing is prohibitively expensive for support bands?
Hasn't stopped high calibre support bands playing gigs here in the past while also supporting in other countries
Main thing is that MCR are playing and will hopefully be a great gig
It has, several times, if you ever saw a band that didn't have a greatest hits album you'd know this.
Yep
Guess I don't need to go to gigs anymore now because I'm not trendy enough that I like to listen to older bands and simply don't listen to music on the radio that exposes 'newer artists'
You seriously are a bit of a bully since all this covid stuff. Never before that were you constantly at my throat
I bow to your superior wisdom, I forgot last year you were an expert in contract law, now you're a booking agent.
**** off
When you've no argument, resort to vulgarity.
You're the one insulting me for my taste in gigs. Constantly wanting to state are argument with me while I'm simply trying to explore my interests
If you feel like I've insulted you, there's a report button.
My apologies, long day and my head was a bit all over the shop.
What's the venue (RHK) like ? Never been there before
Hard to believe its less than 2 weeks away thanks to covid it will happen 99 weeks later than it was originally scheduled (calculations could be wrong 😀)
I was there for Greenday, I found it ok, easy access to food/bars and toilets, big venue for 15k so spacious enough, walking distance from Hueston so couldn't really fault it too much, memory might be hazy though
Hi all, seems so long since I've been to a concert that I've forgotten how they work!
Would anyone know the rough times each act will play and what time MCR will finish? Or point me in the direction of where I could find out?
And could anyone tell me where the best place for parking might be if I decided to drive?
Thanks.
Possibly times and other information will be released on the promoters/venues social media a few days before the show
New MCR track, its OK no 'Welcome To The Black Parade' or 'Helena'
Oh I really like that!
elements of bullets in there
thatll do nicely
Have to agree I really liked it, thought it was excellent
The guys are back in action tomorrow night with a the 1st of a 2 night run in 'The Eden Project St. Austell in the UK' followed by 3 nights in Milton Keynes and finally/hopefully Dublin
Might pick up a last minute ticket for one of the Dublin shows
From last times i worked in RHK acts finish around 10.30 maybe 10.45. MCR probably starting around 8. Possibly 8.15 as the support acts will have 45mins/hour each to play
look on the promoters website as timings will be up there closer to date of gig.
where are you driving from? just park on luas line at park and ride and get luas back to red cow might suit better than parking closer
Hope to **** this won't be a wash our
Info
Would parking at heuston Station be a good shout?
Was hoping to do the same but won’t be driving in till near time MCR are starting in hopes of avoiding the traffic and such
My daughter wants to see the support acts so I'll be up early enough unfortunately and won't even be able to de stress with a pint after the drive.
