The greens were in govt "decades" ago too during the 30th Dail. 2007-2011.
The next government will be inheriting a massive housing crisis, a massive healthcare crisis, a pensions timebomb and a magical money tree that has been stripped bare (national debt). You'd almost think the coalition of chaos is creating such a disaster on purpose but that would give them too much credit. I hope the 2 decades of rotten mismanagement and self service by FFG are never forgotten.

As mentioned, after the treatment of women by FF/FG and the religious orders over the generations to present day, why would anyone trust them? We should have a secular maternity hospital with zero religious affiliations. FF/FG saying FF/FG took so long to get this far as a reason to push it is humorous.
They should never have let it come to this. They have known for decades. They have kicked the can down the road endlessly and kept borrowing so we will have no room for manoeuvre. Ruined. We will end up having to do both.

I voted Independent in the last election. I will vote for a party I can trust. I know who caused the various problems, I don't know yet who will fix them.
It's utterly perplexing why the owners are refusing to sell or even gift the site and excuse after excuse offered makes it even more suspicious. Its actually extraordinary Stephen Donnelly claimed in the Dail he asked about purchasing the site when it's as clear he never did .this entire debacle was about appeasing the religious order .
Yes they keep selling the 300 year lease or whatever which suggests the owners want to keep a hand in. As we know with FF/FG, anything is possible. Some time down the road an issue will arise and FF/FG will give us the 'our hands are tied'. They sell themselves as well meaning but naive when they are incompetent and crony.
Speaking of Stephen Donnelly, there is a runour doing the rounds that he was allegedly caught buying or trying to buy retweets..
