Clerical Officer in the Civil Service 2022 | Civil Service - publicjobs.ie
I was in the early 500s for Dublin, took 4 weeks for clearance to be fully completed and I'm due to start next week.
Had my interview in early Feb and emailed for Garda vetting etc early April!
I submitted my Garda vetting on 4th may, it cleared on 9th may and I was assigned to a department yesterday, so it seems to be pretty quick at the moment
On the candidate self declaration form what sort of documents should I be scanning that I would have to declare in the declaration with regard to scanned documents. Does my Irish Passport work for the proof of eligibility of citizenship? Also I have only had one job my entire life. Does this mean I only have to provide one reference? The forms are very vague.
I was OOM 722 for Dublin for anyone wondering what numbers they are up to for clearance.
Thanks
Hi everyone, does anyone know how much is the wage after tax? Another question when do we move up in the pay scale, is it on our work anniversary or in the beginning of the tax year?
I was assigned to a position and I will have a pay cut, as in my current job I get 30k (base salary + benefits which is plus 3,5k).
You move up on your work anniversary.
This website is great at calculating your take home pay
and the most recent pay scales can be found here
You'll be down about 8.5 grand if that's the case. C0 is very poor starting salary for the amount if work you do - about 25000 if memory serves me right. It was less , around 23000. E0 is about 31000. I used to work for civil service. Was so boring tbh.
HI All my interview stage 2 will be the end of the month may..
are most of the positions for the DSP and revenue?
DSP and Revenue are two of the largest departments enterprise, housing and justice are screaming for staff
Got results after 2-3days.
Hey just wondering what number your partner was in the 50's, as I'm in the 80's and was wondering how far they are off. Thanks

Hi,
I know this is a very niche question, but does anybody know if the Department of Employment and Social Protection, and the Revenue Office, in Limerick city have staff car parking available (with space for new starters) or is it only on-street parking or private car parking at your own expense? Due to start soon, so just trying to figure out practicalities ahead of time!
Many thanks,
Declan.

Hi, has anyone been assigned Dept of Transport? I can't see much on this thread about them! Just wondering how many days they offer for WFH, also flexibility etc.
Sorry I think this question may have already been asked in either this thread or the other one but I can’t locate it though but can somebody moving from local authority to their civil service keep their salary?
