The Russian had another go over Bilohorivka bridge.
We are now up to 82 vehicle losses. With lord knows how many dead Solders.
It now features a new Turret Water Feature.
Wait up, IF cancer could be diagnosed on the telly, a follow up CT scan might still be advisable to determine location and type. The telly diagnosis might just be a yes/no diagnosis with no indication of how to begin treatment.
In fact, people HAVE been diagnosed with cancer due to TV appearances, there's a well known UK case. A viewer noticed a characteristically shaped swelling.
It's nice and clear, but doesn't allow comparison between NATO borders and non NATO borders with respect to ratio.
Regarding the "blanket". I watched an interview where they pointed out that all the army generals, on the podium were given raincoats & most wore them. Putin put his on his lap.
Ukraine's military intelligence chief has given a very positive interview. War over by the end of the year, Putin replaced & all territory including Crimea restored.

Well if you took the time to think before your knee hit your face, maybe it happens to fast who knows, you perhaps would realise the “ joke” has two points.
It's likely Crimea was purged of those with demonstrable loyalty to Ukraine. But, the more I think of it Ukraine may get Crimea back.
1. There is no realistic conceivable way Russia can win this (I'm ruling out nuclear attacks, although that would also lead to the Russian empire's eventual downfall)
2. Those living in Crimea must be seeing a significant downturn in their living conditions. A Western oriented/backed Ukraine must look attractive.
3. Crimea has strategic importance, especially territorial waters.
If continued backing from the West, I can see Crimea returning to Ukraine.
Russia is at its strongest today, weaker than yesterday, and only getting weaker.
Separatists/reservists being sent to fight the Ukrainans with WW2 era bolt action rifles ,not Aks or something similar mosin nagant bolt actions ,it was a great rifle at the time, but been sent to fight against Ukrainians with modern weapons with optics and drone they are essentially cannon fodder
You should know by now that PUTIN would do anything to protect his jewels. It’s a special blanket for special occasions
Looks like the battle of Kharkiv could be over soon. That would be a huge victory and free up troops for other offensives in the Donbas region. A total collapse of Russian military forces in Ukraine could happen suddenly at some point.
Re the intentions of new ‘leader’ post Putin . SpShe/ he can adapt three main approaches ie
(1) get even more aggressive including using nukes, gas, chemicals
(2) continues with the Putin approach
(3) end aggression at very first opportunity . Would have plenty of reasons for doing so . Eg blame Putin for what has happened;. New leader realises that it makes more sense to have a good relationship with the west - may take some time but one has to start somewhere; New leader realises that NATO has never invaded another soverign state - its into defence of members being attacked - but Russia is the only state that is into nakedly grabbing land eg Georgia, Moldavia and now attempting it in Ukraine.
SO WE WILL HAVETOWAIT ANd SEE
I love the optimism @threeball , but Crimea is a historically tough nut to crack, and something the Russians know they can’t afford to lose (safe bet Ukraine wouldn’t want to renew the lease deal on Russian military ports there if they regain control.)
It would take a total collapse of the Russian military and/or some deal that peacefully handed the peninsula back to Kyiv for it to happen. Not impossible for sure, but I can see a fight for Crimea to be extremely tough, even after blowing up the bridge to Russia.
Sarmat missile.
Shur maybe he was eating a sandwich and didn’t want crumbs on his $10000 trousers.
I’d say Mikhail is just frustrated by the Russian Orthodox Church’s support for Putin.
250 mile range mentioned. Every ship in the Black sea and all targets in occupied area is toast.
There was NO BLANKET, it was a special warming operation
I cant see Russia holding on to Crimea after this is over let alone snake island.
Once they take the north and start pushing BTGs south the pressure will become too much and the Russians will fold.
Then they'll turn their artillery on Crimea and anything that's on it. It might be the reason they haven't blown the bridge. Give people an exit to leave before they launch their assault.
Very difficult to diagnose cancer by a persons look per se, much easier to see the effects of the treatment, and Putin looks like he is being dosed with steroids, a common treatment either as part of a chemo regimen, or used alone in palliative treatment, commonly when tumor has spread to the brain.
Now there are other possible reasons for his appearance too, none are great
Nato calls it a satan missile. Pretty sure russia calls it something else. That twitter poster knows that but is doing the twitter equivelent to thanks-whoring to a western audience.
NATO have approx 4000 warheads between all members.
I mean in many cases cancer is difficult enough to diagnose given access to medical imaging, blood and cell tests etc. To suggest that someone can look at a person's face and diagnose them with terminal cancer is ridiculous.
Am I the only one who finds the constant rumours about Putin's health incredibly tiresome? Any one of the hundreds of senior Russian politicians or military officers who would potentially replace him are all cut from the same cloth; it doesn't really matter whether it's Putin pulling the strings or Medvedev or whoever.
The point that many people seem to miss is that Snake Island will give Russia claims to territorial and economic waters in the Black Sea; alongside control of shipping lanes etc.
In particular it's likely to give them the ability to contest most or all of Ukraine's waters in the Black Sea if for example some sort of ceasefire were agreed with the borders as they now are; even without having taken Odessa or having proceeded down the coast beyond Mykolaiv:
It's also possible Russia, while occupying Snake Island, will try to re-open the dispute with Romania to use as additional political leverage: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maritime_Delimitation_in_the_Black_Sea_case
So focusing on longer range air defence coverage is mostly missing the point; Russia doesn't really care too much if Ukraine can operate aircraft in the region of Snake Island beyond being able to defend the island itself from attack.
EDIT: Also as others have pointed out the value to Russia in terms of threatening the security of other nations beyond Ukraine is also important.
The guy with nothing left to lose still keep forgetting about NATOs 6500 nuclear warheads ,that actually works and are maintained ,and have everything to lose
Gotta love their sense of humour
..
6000 nukes, who cares. You might enjoy russian bondage but I doubt it's for the majority. Being held hostage out of a fear that exists in the mind. russia isn't the only state in possession of nuclear weapons. The art of brinkmanship needs to get an airing. Little dmitry in particular needs to be told to go **** himself.
Erdogan will be bought, he's an intelligent if distasteful political animal, he's likely after f15's or f35's
German panzerfaust 3 have found its way to the battlefield and made an impact
3 less t72b3 model 2016(upgraded) destroyed
Would you kill the bear for fear it might strike again? Maybe not now but in the future?
What are the options here? It wasn't western intervention that destroyed Russian elite units to hamper their ability to wage war, it was Ukrainian resistance that pushed the bear in a corner. How can anybody in the west look at Ukraine and just say, you did well but you need to give ground just because Putin tried. The very minute the US and NATO gave weapons, there was simply no turning back. We all know the ramifications for not doing anything, looking at China and maybe North Korea in a few years.
And on top of all that Russia's ability to wage war is barbaric and frightening, a stones throw from Berlin. It drains the blood to think of what Putin and the FSB wanted to do should they have taken Kiev. Millions deported, imprisoned or forced conscription.
So as long as that bear is in the corner and confined to the Donbas, atrocities is not happening in Moldova, Georgia and Lithuania.
What's disgraceful about it? You suggest this 'phobia' is an irrational fear.
Not only has wariness of malign Russian intent proven rational, its proven to have been, in fact, too weak.
The 80yr old beside him wasn't wearing a blanket so Putin must be in a jocker to blemish his hard man rep like that.
