Basically goes against everything the EU is and has always fought against
The Russians trying everything to hack starlink in Ukraine, so far without success.
I think that uniform is actually a Chasseur a Cheval (Light Dragoon) of the French Imperial Guard with French line infantry behind. The white fur trim was often black and that cap looks very non-regulation. But your point stands of course. 😀
(TRIVIA ALERT: Note the red pelisse worn over the shoulder. The British weren't the only ones to wear red during the period. Among the French units also in red were the Dutch Lancers of the French Imperial Guard, a few hussar regiments with red dolmans (the under-jacket) or pelisses, or red for the whole lot, and the Swiss infantry regiments in French service.)
Good video on them here with reference to the Zagreb crash. Very lucky there were no casualties.
It wasn't easy. Poland planned to become independent from Russia for a long time. We know them too well to repeat this mistake. Yet that rest of the Europe turned a deaf ear to our concerns about Nord Stream II. In 2010-2015 LNG terminal in Swinoujscie was build and with Baltic Pipe, Poland was planning to become completely independent from Russia as far as gas is concerned till the end of the year. It was a plan irrespective of the war in Ukraine. So we were just lucky with our timing.
Poor strategy from Putin, then. Ukraine falling from the headlines =/= the West losing interest. The business end of the West, as far as Russia is concerned in this, is not tabloid newspapers, but its governments and militaries, and there is huge strategic incentive for the latter in bleeding Russia dry, both economically and militarily.
There's very little to be gained for Putin, now. He's turned virtually every Ukrainian firmly against Russia, and will likely end up with more NATO on Russia's borders than less. Whatever Russia gets out of a protracted war in Ukraine cannot be worth that, and they will lose in the short, medium and longer term.
So, that's no on providing the easy answers. 🤔
I think Putin is playing the long game, his trying to destroy Ukraines economy and will hope overtime the west loses interest.
That hit on the Russian tank was 34 kms east of the Mariupol steelworks.
Don't mind the message, sensitive material. It's just a google map.
Asking people who make statements that something is 'easy' to back them up with facts is unreasonable now? Easier to throw a tantrum at being challenged I suppose.
Hope this happens. They've been in there, defending for 2 months. They've been looking death in the face for too long.
Russia threatening Sweden and Finland about joining NATO only further validates those countries' doing so. If Russia knew some other diplomatic language than rockets, bombs, tanks and guns, they'd probably not be so hated.
Russia should have no say in what any nation does, I hope Finland and Sweden join it they d be foolish not to.
The Guardian made reference to this story in their updates as well, though they leaned a bit more on the idea of Putin using nuclear weapons. The U.S. appears to be saying that Putin has no plan to achieve his objectives, not after being scuppered in their original plan by Ukrainian determination and being well supplied by the West (though not as much as they would like, still).
To be honest, I don't see how Putin will achieve his aims without rethinking his tactics. Does Russia have the capabilities and public will to sustain months of intense fighting? I find it hard to envision that. We're not in WW2 times any more. It's backward, senseless and utterly destructive to be fighting this kind of war.
Its a soviet era kamikaze drone, sometimes it comes in return
I think they found one in Zagreb as well in the beginning of the invasion that had gone on a one man mission.lol
Pay no attention to this one : it's a pro-Kremlin account pumping out Russian propaganda (i.e. non stop lies).
The study referenced here suggests a worst case of 12%.
TBH it doesn't matter what data people point to as the German government are convinced that it will hit them hard so will not move against the gas supplies until they get alternatives lined up.
a game of Pontoon anyone?
I hate to be "that guy" but it doesn't look like they're in an awful hurry either.
Pinch of salt with this https://twitter.com/worldnews24u/status/1524441625094766594?s=20&t=jUKmevwb0ytJCgcUpYDglQ
Rapists and war criminals..they can go and get fukked.
Russia 'has completely lost Ukraine', says former Chinese ambassador. He's not kind to them at all!
https://archive.ph/5yeZp Cached/archive version as original was scrubbed from the internet by the Chinese as usual.
They have shot down more aircraft in Ukraine ,more than the Ukrainans actually had
They are absolute spoofers. The claimed a couple of weeks ago that around 23,000 Ukrainian troops had been killed in action - a figure that nobody outside Russia believes.
Looking at this again that's a fire and lose. There's no way that drone can be reused again.
If this goes on much longer the Russians will be resorting to this...
I would say its still photos and no live stream lol
Might be a senior member of the front line command.
That's the first time I've seen Russians doing anything like that.
Because you are asking too much of them. They referenced an article and you've asked for more detail. Now that you've assured us it's easy to answer toddle off and report back the answers. Don't be long now... but until you report back we'll take the article at face value.
Any update on that mechanic in Clane with the Z cars? Is he still in business?
