Surely there should be sanctions put on Israeli citizens like they've done on citizens, they should be banned from sporting events and their products should be boycotted in addition no country should be selling them arms to massacre and toture people. They'd wise up very quickly if this was done. Shame of a country
Oh dear
if both sides used the same weapons how do you assume to tell.
Can you name any other activities in the West Bank that Israelis and Palestinians enjoy joint-authority on, that would evidence that a joint-investigation here would be at all a fruitful endeavour?
By the way, if you're curious why palestinian kids get caught up in gun battles - look at those on the right in that video. They look like youth. Palestinian gunmen are notorious for using human shields.
Ballistic tests can match a bullet to the exact gun. It's like a finger print.
subtle gloating ™️ right @markodaly
Human shields you say?
https://www.btselem.org/topic/human_shields
This is odd, because the Hamas Shills on Boards as well as Jeremy Corbyn on Twitter have told us Israel did this because Qatari regime media said so.
Thats how you used it
No you didn't. Correct. You weren't involved. Hence you not knowing what you were commenting on today.
What gloating is there?
The use of human shields by Palestinians is a long-established practice, condemned by Human Rights organisations across the world.
I didn't order the word salad and the tweet doesn't add anything to the discussion that wasn't added already.
Is there an echo?
I commented on something today, today only, yet think I was commenting on something yesterday and brought it up as a piss poor rebuttal... you're very confused.
But what if they cannot find the exact gun?
There were a bunch of children shot dead by the IDF while playing football on the beach a few years ago. No human shields in the way at all that day. Just the children and the murdering IDF. Stop the victim blaming.
Having to negotiate to get the bullet? Hmm, I thought the palestinians would want an open investigation. Why are they so reluctant?
Avi Mayer, a Zionist shill, a storyteller, the propaganda is strong with this one
https://www.ajc.org/bio/avi-mayer
Israel has a long history of attacking journalism, here they blew up the Aljazeera offices. They will go to any lengths to hide their crimes against humanity
Israel: "We don't have the gun that matches this bullet"
Palestine: "Neither do we"
etc.
And that's the best case scenario, infinitely more likely the IDF would seize upon any momentary lapse in the chain of custody to 'prove' the Palestinians did it, and loudly claim that.
we already know it was the IDF who killed her, deliberately.
A soldier's gun is assigned to him personally. Every time you leave base you log out with your weapon.
And the IDF regime has never once displayed the ability to fake evidence before... /s
The offending weapon 'goes missing' soldier gets new replacement and is ordered to never speak about it again.
So it is better to leave the matter at 'unverified'
You might not even need to match the gun. The calibre could give it away. If the IDF were using Tavors, which they probably were, then they'd be a NATO round. Palestinians might be using AK, but in one video I saw they were firing what looked to be an M4 which would be a NATO round too. However the marks on the bullet would be able to differentiate. If it comes back M4 then it's palestinian, AK47 then palestinian. If it's Tavor then Israel.
The excitement in which palestinians could be heard shouting about hitting an IDF soldier to me suggests they thought they had. Since no IDF were injured, there's a chance it was the journalist that went down. Given she was wearing a helmet and vest, her outline from a distance would be soldier-like.
She was almost certainly struck by a wayward round and not intentionally hit by either side.
Not sure how accurate, but if this is true then IDF would be between terrorists and journalist. Terrorists would be firing at IDF, missed and hit her 300 meters further back.
AlJazeera initially said shot at close range and then stealth edited it out of their article
You might not even need to match the gun. The calibre could give it away
Because in the history of the Israel/Palestine conflict, the 2 opposing forces have never got their hands on each others weapons.
"probably" "might" "looked like" etc.
Now come out the pretty charts etc. as in keeping with the Hasbara Playbook.
Well obviously people like you attribute malice to everything Israel does, whether it's humanitarian or whatever.
The investigation would be for those not afflicted with such an unhinged bias.
Israeli investigations have found soldiers of wrong doing before. Even accidents are charged if deemed down to negligence. Such as the case in the courts now of a border policeman who shot a suspicious palestinian who ran away when asked to stop. This was during their stabbing spree. In fact it turned out he was autistic and freaked out, which was why he ran.
Do 'we?'
What's the malice in lab grown meat or computer processors?
As I said, the Israeli army is a professional outfit which logs down to each round of ammo. Ammo leaving base is counted and compared to ammo returning to base.
We aren't talking about scrotes in ski masks going around bombing pubs.
Israeli investigations have found soldiers of wrong doing before. Even accidents are charged if deemed down to negligence. Such as the case in the courts now of a border policeman who shot a suspicious palestinian who ran away when asked to stop.
If it's before the courts now, then it's not an example of a conviction or anything. Which Israeli investigations are you otherwise referring to, who was jailed, for what, how long etc
Oh ho, I found one
It was in 2019, it was a First of its Kind conviction, and it secured a ..... 1 month Community Service. For killing a boy. Yes that sounds like the sort of impartial justice people can rely upon in an apartheid region.
So this guy reckons it was a NATO round
But the eye-witness that the Hamas shills on here said was legit, reckons it was snipers
But those rifles would not be used by the IDF for sniper fire.
Myself and another were discussing a paper from the 1920's. I suggested it might be bias as the owner was Jewish. Today he made the same suggestion about AlJazeera. I called him on it. You came in with your ROTFL like an uniformed messer.
Propagandist tries to deny palestinians use those rifles, yet they're in dozens of pictures and videos
