Something rather grim about the glee many posters in this thread are allowed to express regarding the loss of life in Ukraine. You don’t need to support the Russians, but the joking and guffawing and sheer pleasure some of you display as people are maimed and killed by bombs is rather revolting.
Everyone has tried to treat Russia as normal for the last 20yrs. Unfortunately they've proven that they're still the thieving, murdering shower of bastards they always were. Russia should be shut off from any western supplies especially anything that can be used in weapons to the point they'll need to resort to canonballs if they decide to start another war. I'd even go as far and say they are sanctioned until they remove their nuclear arsenal. After that, normal service can resume apart from weapons deliveries or parts for weapons deliveries. They cannot be allowed to threaten the world on a whim and it will put China on notice too.
Every orc killed or maimed means less killings done by it so please excuse us.
The more russians that die in Ukraine the better, the quicker peace will be enforced on russia. There are tens of thousands of russian troops in Ukraine, after week 1 of the invasion the BS of russian troops being misled and lied to doesn't wash. They have the arms to turn on their officers if simple abandonment isn't an option. Too bad about them as they prefer to drink, loot, rape and murder their way through that country.

Seems the Russian solution to a place like Kherson is to simply remove the existing population, liquidate or deport them, and move new population in. That's a particularly disturbing thought about Russia sitting on solidly Ukrainian territory for a long time and something that will only be possible to fully see the extent of if and when Ukrainian forces can retake towns and cities in the south and east.
