What have you not seen on the streets Brendan, blueshirts, russians, racists, screaming racists, quasi terrorists, Sinn Fein/IRA, provo's eyes, kinihans, ornithologists, 1934 hasbeens, I'm really struggling to keep up with the octupus tentacles
The weather in Colombia is fairly temperate, although it can be a bit muggy at times
well as long as there are no more airlines falling from the sky there
at least we avoided that here , just fishing boats eh
Them fishing boats falling from the sky are a serious threat for sure
glad you can laugh about murder . one of the things that make us different , thank god
Haven't a clue what you're on about, but then again it's not the first post I've found challenging on this page
Disgraceful comment to be honest.
Might be worth pointing out that OJ was not a Blueshirt (literally or figuratively) when he made those comments. He had been elected on the ticket of a strange anti-Jewish anti-Masonic minority party called Monetary Reform.
Of course, he later became a Fine Gaeler and made the famously Quixotic comment about there having been "no sex in Ireland before Television".
You seem very well informed. There are currently nine women on the Army Council? Really?
Does that provoke more questions? Damn right.
How many people are currently on the Army Council?
How many of them are men?
And I suppose it's terribly impertinent to ask, er, who are they?
17 + Chair (non-voting)
Tough one - 17-9 = 8
Chair has the casting vote if there's a tie, so if the 9 women vote one way and the 8 men vote the other way, the chair has the casting vote.
I'll need to check with them before listing the names
12 members on the exectutive.

and a designation
Sf are getting a bit carried away with themselves now and as Martin says it's a bit amusing to watch.
That claim of 11.6582% is right up there with those who thought Mary-Lou would be Taoiseach just because Sinn Fein was the largest party.
Are ya raging? Sounds like yer raging. Watching the reaction of the FFG crowd at the elections is something else. Varadkar wouldn't even congratulate Michelle O Neil. A real low class individual he is.
Interesting to note the gender balances of candidates from the leading parties in the Assembly elections.
Essentially the more middle class and conciliatory your position, the more likely you are to have an equitable gender balance. The Alliance Party had a perfect 50-50 split between male and female candidates. Closely followed by the Greens with a 53-47% split in favour of male candidates. Next was Aontu (the pro-life Provos) with a 55-45 split closely followed by the SDLP with 57-43% each in favour of male candidates.
Then comes the right-on parties of Sinn Fein and People Before Profit who both had a 58-42% split in favour of women candidates.
And finally, bringing up the rear were the three Unionist parties who had a 65-55 (UUP), 77-23 (DUP) and a laughable 89-11 (TUV) split all in favour of male candidates.
careful now. at least three of the libel actions are all about this point.
I think Maskey is suing the IT for the same point made in a 5th March article.
I'd reply to that, but it might be deemed irrelevant so I'd better hold my wheest
If you call pretty indifferent a reaction then OK. The FFG crowd as you call them want to see a functioning Assembly just like everyone else. Yeah, they did get a bit giddy with the border poll, which they cannot actually deliver and all the claims of historic votes. Not sure any politician has ever congratulated anyone on Assembly outcomes but I guess one find a perceived slight in anything if one is so minded.
Given the number of defamation actions in train from Sinn Fein politicians, they find slights everywhere.
I congratulated SF already.
The only downer for them has to be that at 29% they haven't captured the heart of the so called nationalist vote completely.
OK, a great result for them, the largest party, but the 29% means probably 60% nationalist vote. I wouldn't be sure this translates in anyway to the urgency they seem to be putting on a border poll.
They might need to rethink on that one, when they get over the bluster of their great, and I mean that, victory.
I have not made allegations against anyone for being members of the Army Council. i have merely asked what is the current makeup, what is its current gender balance and only then who are its current members. If Sinn Fein or its supporters cannot answer those questions without leading to someone being sued then that reflects rather badly on them as a party seeking to gain administrative office in a democracy. (Or two?) Wouldn't you think?
Personally, I was surprised to read that the Army Council has so many members, albeit in (no-offence) a non-authoritative Internet message board. One respondent says 12; another says 17; I thought it was about 5. And I would not take a post made here as a definitive answer unless it was corroborated by information from elsewhere. (again, no offence).
As is evident in this article, clearly some people, rightly or wrongly, believe that the IRA Army Council is still running things.
The executive according to the independent monitoring is intact but not operating.
It seems that MLMD has taken the case in order to try and silence Mairia Cahill, it doesn't seem like something the leader of a political party would do. It also seems that SF are running scared of what further might come out here, engaging and abetting abusers is not a good look going into an election (well, for most parties of government).
Hopefully the whole SLAPPS process will be legislated away soon and prevent these types of cases happening in secret in the future.
The boys in West Belfast haven't gone away you know. Will be interesting what jobs for the boys they get in the North now.
The endemic corruption in Stormont, fostered by the two extremist parties would make Putin blush.
Eyyyoooo 😎😎😎😎
In all fairness, they may not have increased their of seats of their share of the vote (well by 1%), but it was a good election for Sinn Fein. I mean can you think of any other party that could top the poll running a candidate with Sinead Ennis's twitter record
"In a response to another user, Ms Ennis tweeted on March 21, 2012: “Some people were hit with the ugly stick, you were raped by the whole forest.”
Is this the same Sinn Fein that punished workers and families for 3 years by absenting themselves from Stormont from 2017 to 2020?
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-northern-ireland-61390917
"Northern Ireland's people cannot be left "high and dry" by the DUP's refusal to form an executive, Sinn Féin's Michelle O'Neill has warned the prime minister.
Ms O'Neill said the DUP's actions were punishing workers and families"
Oh, but that was over the Irish Languages Act, the greatest issue of our time, far more important than the payrise denied to nurses as a result.
