so no musicians should go to Ukraine or is it just U2 ?
And darlin', darlin' look at me
Oh-oh-oh, look at me
Oh darling, look at me, LOOK at me, LOOOOOOK at ME!!!!!
Oh, the powers that be in the Kremlin know full well what nuclear war would mean, its the Russian Population they are trying to keep in the dark,,,,, and for the ones that do know, the reply is "so what? in that case, we will all go to heaven".
Absolutely.
I was just surprised to hear it from journalists who you'd have thought their families might manage to be better informed on journalism type topics.
I don't have a clue about topics that my family might be experts in, but if I want to know something about such topics I'd ask them and generally trust their opinions above others I might hear. Surprised that people who have relatives working for a major international media organisation don't seem to take their input on international news items.
If you have a kid or close relative working in journalism in Kviv and instead you believe the contradictory story coming from Moscow then there are some serious problems.
Is it possible that Putin ordered this to sow fear in Russians??? Nothing said about all flights cancelled, which is what the Kremlin normally does, so lets people fear the worst, knowing how the Kremlin works.? An undeclared state of emergency if you like?
Not only did the aircraft fail to show up for the Victory Parade
But it appears one of the highly prized T-14 Aramata show piece vehicles failed to show up
Not only can they not produce them. We have to question the ability to maintain them.
If I were Putin, I'm not sure how much I'd trust my own protection detail.
I'm 100% in favour of the protest and the red paint. The Russian public can 'do one' basically and tough luck if they are offended - too many of them on board with the invasion and with support for Putin.
I'd say that the place is full of them....all there to protect Putin though. (unfortunately, but you never know,,,,,,,)
Thing is, it's like this in many countries. Ask a Chinese person about the Uighur. It's that old rubric about individuals being smart but people being stupid. We've seen it in many countries and many cultures. Propaganda works. People fall for it. The state helps them create their own little bubble where they have their own little reality.
And as someone mentioned earlier, it was even like that in Ireland. People were staunchly anti gay, anti abortion and anti single mothers. Because everyone told them to be. And we might think that it's harder to be like that now, because we have so many sources of information that we can easily find the truth. Thing is that most people never go looking. And the second thing is that it also means there's so many ways to bombard people with their lies.
Well, his hangover was cured. Careful what you wish for.
Seeing as the final drive is connected to the drive sprocket, do they have something like inboard disc / drum brake's?
Thinking exactly that would happen. It'll be a great bit of propaganda back home. Dignified ambassador getting attacked by violent Ukrainian Nazis. No sound on the video or overdubbed.
Oh certainly, but even in that back and forth there are opposing stories too. Russians are also hearing from Ukrainian/Russian seperatist relatives in the Donbas of grim realities only perpetrated by the Ukrainians. And tbh in that part of Ukraine which is like the Ulster Troubles of the 70's on steroids, now an all out war because of the Russian invasion, where what gloves were on are now off, I'd not be at all surprised to find out there's some truth in those stories. That area has long been an ethnic shítshow with the two sides being propped up by both sides and murderous actions on both sides too. In the rest of Ukraine and Russia's overall claims about and around this war I'd trust Russia as far as I could through it, but in Donbas, well that would be far more of a grey area. Even so I'd still firmly believe that Russia are the majority actor in such crimes.
From hearing the same stories reported about people communicating with family between Ukraine and Russia and the Russian side not believing it, but then hearing from the likes of BBC Ukrainian reporters saying exactly the same stories about their own families I think I'd be leaning towards that it is a widespread issue.
Obviously don't know how big any of these reporters Russian branches of their families are, but each one of them I've heard speaking on their Ukrainecast program has mentioned about parents or cousins who don't believe that Russia is doing anything wrong.
What was he thinking attending that in Poland?
They don't know how to release the brakes.......😂
Not so much makeup visible here..........poor kids and their parents.
A bit of a problem for the criminal regime to report. The crowd were chanting "fascists" at him - not exactly part of their pre-ordained script about the war.
And they accuse Ukraine of black magic

This is true Wibbs, public opinion can be manipulated readily by media and state. But a counter balance to that are personal and family connections on opposing sides. And that is one factor that is strange here, we often hear/ read of Ukrainians/ Russians living in Ukraine and their discussions with relatives or friends in Russia. And that they are disbelieved when they outline the grim reality of what has and is happening. Maybe we only hear some of these stories and in most cases the message is in fact getting through? I know if one of our children who was abroad phoned up and told us what was happening there, I'd be believing them a lot quicker than any state or media message.
Russian ambassador painted https://twitter.com/MarkRid89403375/status/1523609921970794496?s=20&t=JKbuBWnP8I4mdywfoRBnVw
The Russian ambassador was drenched in red paint.
The incident took place in front of the Mausoleum of Soviet Soldiers in Warsaw.
Keep them coming. Also more of those loitering drones, absolute game-changers
What always cracks me up is they say this ****, but conveniently leave out that the resultant barrage back in the opposite direction would erase Russia from the history books.
