Ethics? Do you think that Putin observes any kind of ethnics? medical or other wise ? And morals fall into the same non-observance category. Just like Stalin....when he lay dying on the floor of his Dacha, with only his Daughter with him, not one of his medical team, neither doctors or nurses would help him. And that was because of his habit of killing people indiscriminately, even his medical team. I think that he was lying in his own mess for awhile, until they were sure he was dead.....no one wanted to be the first one to check if he was alive or dead.
Complete the procedure as professionally as possible....... then, before he comes back into conciseness, assinate him?
Don't see the difference in a doctor taking him out or a professional army/agency/ political hit.
It would most likely be a personal decision he/she would make, as a higher moral ground than his own profession.
In the long run the doctor would save many more lives.
I would assume the same for Finland also.
There's no point in only observing ethics when it's easy. The whole point is to do in the face of barbarism.
Some difference over whether Putin apologised.
In Thursday's statement, Mr Bennett's office said that he had accepted Mr Putin's apology and "thanked him for clarifying his attitude towards the Jewish people and the memory of the Holocaust".
Russia said the two discussed the Holocaust, but did not say Mr Putin apologised.

The Hippocratic Oath. Is that universal do you think? And even if it is, do you think that it applies in Putins Russia?? Because for sure, he has done away with what would be considered the norms in a civilized society.
I can, but I'm not going to rise to the occasion. I'll tell you why.
A. Some simple research and/or reading through multiple posts in this thread will provide you with the answer.
B. I don't have time to answer.
C. As you clearly demonstrate, mistakes can be made. Sometimes " mistakes " can be used to cover up atrocities or to make a subtle point. Ask anyone in Malasyia.
D. Refer to point A.
I'm merely answering the question with the sarcasm it was asked.
There were a few Russian doctors reputedly suicided during covid. I imagine the medical profession has little love for Putin.
That's an interesting one for Ireland. There is currently no legislation restraining non-nationals (be they EU nationals or non-EEA) from buying real estate in Ireland. Legislation providing for such a restraint, it was claimed by Eoghan Murphy in 2018, would be unconstitutional.
Keep a close eye on this one.
Just the wife. Don't worry about it...
Hopefully it will be able to apply in Ireland and if not that the necessary legislation is quickly implemented to make it happen. As an aside IMHO it should have been done years ago to stop foreign vulture funds buying Irish property.
A stray rocket isn't likely to lead to escalation. If something very specific was clearly targeted that might be a different matter; but even then any response would likely be directly proportional.
Also rather telling that after a lot of indications earlier in the conflict that Russian chemical units were being moved into Ukraine we haven't heard a peep about chemical weapons. I suspect escalation isn't really in Russia's interests at this stage; and Transnistria/Belarus is more about keeping Ukrainian forces away from the Donbass and southern fronts.
If/when they get them howitzers in range of russia supply lines better agin supply hubs they will do some major damage
I am not sure if anyone has interest but I said to myself he has guts. And as drill sergeant Hartman says guts is enough.

I don't think so. There was good footage released of one of the attacks which retook a town near Kharkiv and it only showed mechanised infantry and mortars:
I believe during a US Senate hearing on the 3rd there was comment made that the first M777s had been put into service in Ukraine. I'm not sure if that means they've actively been used or not.
Also today we got a possible glimpse at some shells reportedly somewhere in Ukraine with the names of cities like Irpin and Bucha written on them; but impossible to verify if they're actually in Ukraine or if these are shots from training.
They're lucky if they even have these guys left.
They look like the cast of One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest.
The Doctors Purge. A real thing (and not a weight loss program).
Israel are a snakey lot. I give them little credit at all in this sorry affair. Trying to ride two horses, keep in with Putin whilst maintaining a 'special relationship' with USA. Not going to work so well for them longer term.
Yup, and another example of how Russia has got itself to such a low point. Everyone was a target. Any kind of exceptionalism and you were marked. Other than the brainwashed, would anyone just make music for the sake of it? When getting any notoriety in any field means you're under a microscope under penalty of suicide it really discourages enterprise, creativity, competition and progress.
Morally I despise how Israel behave but they'll always look after themselves first and foremost, and last for that matter.
The French Caesar 155mm have demonstrated hits on targets at 46 km using enhanced range precision rounds.
So, apologies for the stupid question.
I'm assuming all the different airforces are interracting with all being on the same side.
Soo does that mean, that those stratotankers will refuel NATO, US RAF aircraft?
Come one, come all.
Is there a one size fits all system, all shapes and sizes?
Again, sorry for the stupid question.
I'd imagine that there's a fair nr of people in Russian Society (especially the well educated ones,) who know exactly what he is doing, and are far from happy about it. But at the end of the day, they are all in Putin's prison, open air and all that, but a prison nonetheless. And anyone who falls foul of Putin or his system, quickly finds themselves in a real prison, or worse, the graveyard. And so far, he has managed to keep the lid tight on it, but I'd imagine that here and there there are wisps of steam escaping, Question is, what will it take to reach boiling point, and blow the whole thing up.
artillery is key
He may well have been.
The absolute cun7ery of Lenin was only barely exposed before his early death but even that was enough to make people think Mr Filofax himself would be a moderate, same with Trotsky, many of the original Soviet leadership were terrified of Leon and his perfect comfort with extreme violence.
They believed they were doing good and building a better tomorrow and any one who opposed them was against better world. That's the ultimate driver of absolute savagery and genocide.
I'm quite partial to an eye for an eye and do unto others as they have done to you. For people like Putin, Assad and Anders, there is nothing that could be done to them, aside from continued ethical existence, that I would think they didn't deserve a thousand fold.
Not exactly good advertisements for their profession, are they? They all look like they could do with a visit to a doctor themselves......☺️
there are two systems, a boom system and a drogue system....
KC-135's are primarily boom system, but have the ability to fit an attachment to allow drogue aircraft refuel
Likewise with the KC-10.
Newer tankers, such as the A330 MRTT, and KC-76, if fitted, can do both. But due to costs, certain air forces will only kit out what the majority of their aircraft have (such as the RAF A330's having drogue only).
Not sure what the Italian KC-767 has,I think it's drogue only...(edit: no it can do both)
The Airbus A400 is capable of drogue refuelling too, the German's have used this heavily supporting CAP around Ukraine.
edit: yes, they will be all refuelling each other
