You can't blame it. There was a lad on a Massey Ferguson coming in the other direction and he panicked
My daughter just asked me if Russia is going to bomb Ireland - she's always been a bit of a worrier. I reassured her that Putin won't. "Are you sure he definitely won't?" FFS. She's supposed to be excited about an overnight school trip tomorrow and instead she's fretting over the country being taken out by that tiny-cocked cu_nt in the Kremlin.
Small beer I know compared to what kids in Ukraine are going through, but still.
It'd definitely not true to say that Sweden is full of Nazis...........it's fairly sparsely populated overall. They have loads of room for more should they want them
Kremsplaining
There must be no Russian equivalent of the saying, "When you're in a hole, stop digging."
Ah there is.
In Soviet Russia, hole digs you.
These already exist. Up to a million dollars for a Russian defecting with a jet or warship, and up to 100k for a tank.
German DZ Bank has restarted banking transactions with Russia.
"It's just little transactions- sure what harm?"
🤬
A big scroll back in the timeline to find the video clip which is in Orc, hence my not linking: https://t.me/operativnoZSU
What a truly beautiful and intelligent lady
" We are witnessing the mass killings of civilians"...
"We have no right to remain silent otherwise we become accomplices to this killing"
And that is true of all of us.
To the presenter Vira Hyrych who was killed in the Russian bombing of her home and who broadcast this ladies account of the attack on Mariupol ~ RIP
If you go back my original point was that a poster was comparing russian behaviour to that of the nazi Germans in how they looted and plundered. In fact everything here seems to be brought back to a comparison to the Nazis, it's as if they invented plundering behaviour during conquest.
I was pointing out (and certainly not excusing in any way shape or form) that plundering sadly has been a part of conquest since the dawn of humanity. And the Russians won't be the last.
Whether it's true or not, I reckon the Russians are rubbing their hands in glee to see this rumour doing the rounds, spreading mistrust within the EU. And the OP is helping them.
I've got this one....
Finally!.........Yes!.....
...ahem..
Nuclear weapons need highly enriched Uranium. ( H.E.U.). There was some left, for experiments in physics, at the Institute of Physics in Kharkiv, but guess what...Russia shelled it. Ukraine has no way of turning their Uranium deposits into U. Hexafloride gas, used in enrichment plants. ( Thank you Scott Manley). Natural Uranium is U-238. Nuclear weapons need U-235.
It would take years to build the facilities needed for enrichment. (99.99% of the Manhattan Project facilities was for enrichment only, covering thousands of acres to produce around 1kg of material. It ain't easy!)
However, they've got plutonium. It's buried in their reactors. Full of nasty isotopes. Perfect for a dirty bomb. I shudder to think what Russia would do, however, if they discovered Ukraine was fiddling about with one of their reactors.
To recap- Ukraine will never be able to manufacture their own nuclear bombs. They can produce "dirty bombs". ( a conventional explosive head packed with radioactive material. All the fallout with none of the bang.
My years of watching Plainly Difficult and Scott Manley videos have finally paid off!!
Re employment policy and hiring someone , there are a whole list of things that one cannot use to refuse a person a job eg religion, sexual orientation, etc, etc, etc, etc.
one can be before the court if they certain things to another person in public - have witnesses to prove it. The same with other offensive situations re incitement to hatred, offensive posters, articles, etc.
COULD THE SAME NOT BE DONE by outlawing specific emblems, signs, etc like the current ‘z’ thing?
He says lots of things but is fully backing the EU stance on sanctions. That's all that matters.
When I was a small kid in late sixties, it was a histeria on polish TV about nuclear war. They were showing footages about results of such a strike. And only shadows of people left on walls. So I was keeping all the time close to my mum, literally clutching her skirt to be one spot with my mum in case of nuclear strike. It was an awful time for me back then, so must be awful for kids now as well. I don't remember much from my childhood, but I remember this. My parents probably thought I was too young to understand what was on TV...
Good man yourself, another idea for the Ru to exploit - irrespective of whether it is true or not . At least it is a change from the American supported ‘ chemical labs’!!!!!
A good twitter thread on the deficiencies of the t72 and on the Russian army in general.
Still nowhere near as crazy as the War of the Triple Alliance. When, eh, Paraguay declared war on pretty much everybody. With predictable results that they still haven't recovered from.
There was a lady from Cork in the middle of it too.
As Nixon might say ‘ I know it’s not true but let’s see them denying it anyway’
This isn't a new thing. Churchill noted in the aftermath of the Yalta conference that their definition of 'fascist' was sufficiently broad to include 'those I disagree with'.
It was LBJ and said about McGovern.
I thought it was apocryphal but definitely one of the many forms of Texas tale LBJ liked to recount.
e.g. the first paragraph in this
The biggest war news today will emanate from Brussels.
Yeah, plenty of versions of it out there. It tends to be attributed to him, very much his direct style!
There's always some fu^ker from Cork causing trouble
Was that the pig fucker accusation?
Yeah, good old LBJ comment/story. To correct my earlier post he didn't say it about McGovern but the strategy was used in spades against McGovern in 1972.
For the sake of the rest of humanity, this pox of a man needs to be removed from this world right now.
Mick Wallace enjoying seeing the pope back his anti-nato stance...
