Russia don't exactly have a stellar fire safety record; in particular their deaths from fires are amongst the highest in the world. Many of the fires to strategic/military targets in the regions bordering Ukraine are likely Ukrainian drone/SRBM/SoF attacks but deeper into Russia that gets less and less likely.
Also quite likely all their military and related manufacturing facilities are running full tilt with long hours, **** conditions, relaxed safety standards etc. Which might explain some of the fires in the Russian far east or closer to Moscow.
There have been videos of people reportedly setting local military offices on fire but it's very hard to know how widespread that might be.

Ahhh right makes sense if no inventory there I suppose. I would of thought if it was sabotage groups some would of been killed or captured by now by the amount of places going up in flames.
I'm pretty sure that it will impress the Russian population too, but not in a way the Kremlin wants. Its one thing to wage war in another Country, but when it will mean massive death and destruction of themselves in their own cities, that's a very different situation, no matter what way they spin it.
With the caveat that we dont really know because its never been done, not very is the best answer.
First, no one had ever produced a 100mt bomb. The USSR had a theoretical 100mt but in reality was 50mt. A very big and unwieldy nuclear weapon that probably wasnt much replicated (having smaller more accurate icbm warheads makes more sense).
Second, water is very heavy and gives significant resistance. Even a very large manmade explosion in the ocean wont shift the water that much. Tusnami are usually caused by massive tectonic changes.
Third, nuclear explosions are very quick and extremely hot. They would vapourise a large amount of the water which would form a huge water vapour cloud.
Forth, the posideon is quite slow. In the event of a press the red button scenario, it could take days or even weeks to get to its target. Icbms take less than an hour.
The big problem is that the weapon would irradiate the water. Its design isnt to create a tsunami, but to irradiate a port or fleet to render it inoperable.
Its really not nearly as worrying as the 1,500-2,000 nuclear warheads that are currently in service with the Russians and ready to be launced with very short notice.
There was also a theory earlier on the thread that some of them are kinda like insurance jobs... basically the inventory isnt there and the fire is a cover up.

What's people's thoughts on all the fires happening in warehouses /military installations in Russia, is it Ukrainian sabotage or would you think there is some UK or American sabotage groups doing same? Any word is any guards who are guarding them getting killed during this or literally if it is multiple sabotage groups they are getting in and out without been caught? Or an element of Russian involvement I mean some sort of anti war/putin group doing same who are probably in control of some Russian very high up?
Just imagine what their insurance is going to be like next year..........and for all the other places that burned down there so far this year. No shareholder payouts I'd say.😎

Hard to imagine how they can be readmitted to world sport whilst Putin is still in the Kremlin. We're probably looking at them being banned from the Olympic Games 2024, Euro 2024 etc. not unless there are some dramatic changes in Russian society in the meantime.
I'm not entirely convinced that weapons of such magnitude exist.

It's exactly the sort of accident that may happen if sleeper cells are nudged. Important not to start a terror campaign and hand morality to the USSR as they will lap it up.
A very cheap way of tracking this eventually would be to KEEP A VERY, VERY CLOSE EYE on the Russian ambassador + staff on his movements unless they have become Muslims and all looking longingly to meeting their 40 virgins
