Bin collections in city centre

I’ve been in Galway the last few Sundays and the Monday after Easter very early and there has rubbish collection trucks every time.

Is it like that every morning in the city centre or is is just the collect after a Saturday night?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen refuse collections on a weekend except at Christmas.

They've done the main collection. But some seem yo do an extra pass looking for bin bags in the side streets a bit later.

I’ve been out in Galway at night. As in out out.

I knew it had a popular nightlife but not like that.

They're usually done around that point but at times, with traffic, they're still knocking around.

The economy in Galway city centre is based on party central. The craic is mighty. So is the rubbish.

Every day, except Christmas Day.

The sweeping machines go thru between 5-7am. Bin lorries after that. And deliveries.
