Would not bother mate, you will do it again. I bought the paint/pen online and had planned to DIY, but between myself and herself we have scratched them up several times since the first one. Curb rash is a thing, you will pay to have it fixed and u will do it again and be even more annoyed.
I am also guilty, but only slight damage to front left rim, enough for me to notice but others probably would not. About 2" of paint removed. I have the standard 18" wheels which have a reasonable amount of rubber but still damaged against a very low kerb. Pity with all the cameras there is no 360 view.
@jusmeig can you remember where you bought the paint?
Did anyone receive a text from Tesla the last few days about their cars being delivered in June? Estimated delivery timing for your Model 3 is June. This type of text?
Im Nearly sure it was the same in my 2016 MSP.
A few times I was like, Is this gone off?
No ships have left China yet for this quarter... It will be 4-5 weeks when they do leave. Looking like a big rush in the last week's of June to get cars delivered
Two questions here folks
thanks,
Hi
So if you put money down for a 3, 250, when do you pay the balance, when they match it to a VIN in a year's time?
Some of them do indeed.
35% is quite a light tint. Just enough to know it’s tinted but also just enough to still see inside when clean.
Fronts are done at your own risk of course.
You’ll get an email the week of delivery to pay.
Talking about tints. I pass a car every now and then that has it's front windscreen tinted with a big white sheet with a few designs on it. When I say white that's all I see from the outside
On Tesla mobile app go to “Schedule” and then you will see “Off Peak Charge”. There is then an option that allows you set “Off Peak End Time”. I imagine this will work if you also use the Schedule to set time to start charging.
But you still aren't aware your oul one takes her clothes off on stage and the guy was rushing to see her.
So the latest software update says you can now drag the heated seat icon down to the bottom bar.... except it's not in the toolbar icons to do it.
I have it since 2022.12.3
Press the […] icon in the dock, should see them and be able to drag them down to dock.
If you drag down just the one, then the other also comes down conveniently beside the temp controls. (I don't think they use up the icon spaces on bottom tool bar). They weren't visible on my icon list either, but they did pop up when I clicked on something..
I've only got about a dozen items when I click the 3 dots....nothing to do with heating etc.
Tidal, Spotify, radio, charging, toybox, arcade, camera, Bluetooth, messages, calender and phone. That's it!!
I am not with car atm, but the new icons did appear when I did something, is there a second page?
Edit, try dragging up the icon page
Hold your finger on the … icon for a few seconds.
You then get the additional icons in grey above the normal apps.
Drag down the seats and both come down at once. You then get the option to drag down the front or rear Demister.
Now if we can find out how long is left on songs) podcasts on Spotify we'll be laughing, instead of a stupid moving black line.
Thanks @eeloe too…na, I’ll get it fixed - it’ll annoy me.
I found a place in Cork, Red Abbey Motors. Another Grey M3 was leaving as I dropped in to enquire. The other M3 had just got it’s wheel fixed too (kind of proves everyone’s point in a way).
Thanks Gumbo!! Worked a treat. Back to some sort of normality with the heated seat icons as a 1 touch job now!!
I use the screen in dark mode so you can always see the slider and how long is left relatively speaking. No numerical figures of course.
I miss the numerical figures. Nothing worse than 3 bickering teenagers asking how long is left on this song, while you say "I don't know, 7 centimetres"?
That’s a good response 🤣🤣
The issue I think is that the tyres are stretched on to the wheels leaving the rims very exposed. I have never seen another manufacturer stretch tyres... Only aftermarket
Was just outside washing our two cars (Model 3 and Ioniq 5) and yes I am a sucker.☺️ My car was filthy after a long day yesterday. How easy the Tesla was to wash compared to the Ioniq (Which was much cleaner).
But when drying the cars it is a great time to examine the finish and panel gaps of the two cars. Really the Model 3 is now first class, paint is first class after 4.5K kms, to my eyes anyway. The Ioniq panels look tighter, particularly the shut lines, but in reality it's not the case. They have cleverly used trim panels to hide some of the gaps and a clam shell bonnet hides gaps very well. Also having boot lines at the corners helps. The Model 3 on the other hand is very rounded, with many of the panels and shut lines on compound curves, which will always make gaps more prominent depending on your view angle. But in reality build quality appears excellent.
I think the new refreshed M3P wheels are slightly wider are they? The older 20” with the same 235 tyre is not stretched.
I didn’t think you had to do any of that formatting stuff anymore.
I had an250gb sandisc ssd that I just plugged into the car (2020) and formatted in car and left it there. I didn’t have to anything else. I do however have a usb console so have my music on an additional usb stick if that makes a difference.
