New drone footage has emerged of dead bodies lying on the streets of Bucha on March 13th with Russian tanks also in view (not that this will come as a surprise to anyone).
I've also just been done, apparently for a question mark by the same poster
We better watch out. We're obviously on dangerous territory 😅
Indeed. I know what a question mark is and I even know how to structure a question .
You stating that
"You assuming that if he were to give an insane order to launch nuclear weapons he'd be overruled by the military?"
That mangled statement/question simply makes no sense whatsoever
If you had stated "Are you assuming that if he were to give an insane order to launch nuclear weapons he'd be overruled by the military?"
Are you assuming
that if he were to give an insane order to launch nuclear weapons he'd be overruled by the military?
Then that indeed would be a bona fide question
You starting a sentence with " You assuming that"
You assuming that"
Indicates you believe I've made an assumption somewhere which you are asking about. As does your previous statement
"But what makes you so certain it's all an empty bluff"
And no I made no such assumption
Any chance of a reply that isn't prickly and aggressive and personal? FFS
Untrue. Check the comment if in doubt.
But let me ask you that same question - any chance of a reply that isn't prickly and aggressive and personal?
Tbh Its evident from the last couple of comments here you're looking to start fights with posters.
You're on your own with that.
Goodbye
Grammar Nazi 😂😂😂
Of ffs that's not my point but try create an argument anyway.
They'll get immense support from the west after this. A huge influx of investment and jobs into the country as part of the rebuild as a major FU to a weakened Russia.
Okay, I'll do that and in return you go read about what apostrophes are for
"Special Operation to demilitarise NATO".
They can't even defeat the farmers the next field over from them.
These deluded clowns put Comical Ali to shame.
The last couple of months have shown the lie that is the 'strong Russia.' Paper tiger, the only threat they have left is the nukes.
Do you realise what a question mark is for? I was generally curious as to whether you take those threats seriously or not.
That $33B is basically the US telling Russia "we're in this for the long haul" which is great to see. With Russia finding it hard to fight like a first rate army, and the losses they have taken, Putin should be bloody grateful that the west has been hesitant to step in with its own forces. Because if they had, there would be no Russian military left.
Definitely in the eyes of the Ukrainian people, he will, but they do not get to vote in U.S. elections, by and large.
Well there's a long way to go yet but yes: if Ukraine "win" the war in a meaningful sense it's likely to be in large part due to US support. And if Ukraine also manage to transition into a western style democracy with close ties to the US/NATO and act as a bulwark against Russia on NATOs flank then I could see his legacy being significantly better than any of the other recent presidents.
Did I say it was all "empty bluff"?
empty bluff
Even "total morons and psychos" can be dangerous to those around them.
total morons and psychos
And where in my comment exactly was this suggested?
Dafuq?
Could always write to a TD and tell them people on boards are calling them Orc's
Together with counter fire radar that pinpoints russian artillery position,Russian will be in a for a nasty surprise.
If the price of petrol doesn't come down he could do all that and still not get re-elected.
Total morons and total psychos. But what makes you so certain it's all an empty bluff and that Putin doesn't mean it when he says "a world without a strong Russia is a world not worth having?"
You assuming that if he were to give an insane order to launch nuclear weapons he'd be overruled by the military?
If Biden helps Ukraine to win this war and not have Russia use a nuclear weapon will his legacy be the greatest of any US President and in modern times ?
I'm sure the Ukrainians would be happy to know you're already thinking of how to profit from the war
Agree with you there they might recognise these battles.
After all they won them.
Although the only hope some of them knowing of The Bulge is Band of Brothers and they probably only know of Iwo Jima thanks to Clint Eastwood.
I think they have been far more than a lot of others in supporting Ukraine.
And i think part of that is down to Biden's connections with the country.
I despair to think what would have happened if Trump was in.
He would probably have come out and congratulated Putin on stomping out Nazis.
Firstly, I'm not Russian, second I wasn't even talking about Russia primarily in that post. Which just goes to prove my point about ignorance. No surprise you got likes from the usual suspects.
I despise Putin and his war just as much as you do. But yeah, I still think calling countries sh*tholes and describing whole nations as orcs is a sign of profound stupidity, the kind of thing you expect from Trump and his supporters.
Backfired doesn't describe it adequately. It's been a disaster. The so called 2nd best army in the world turned out to be the equivalent of a military bullshitter. A huge amount of their military kit is now scrap metal in Ukraine. They have lost by some estimates between 15-20k of troops with a multiple of that number injured and they are quite possibly facing defeat.
Basically the Russian performance has been a clown show.
And that's before we consider that he's flushed the Russian economy down the toilet.
This tweet of Russian state TV follows the meeting of representatives of 40 countries at the Ramstein Airbase in Germany this week, organised by the US to provide more support to Ukraine.
In a Russian televised response - the panel calls for a " Special Operation to demilitarise NATO", the launching of WWIII because Russia is simply attempting to bring " Justice, peace and security" to the world
Seriously where do they find these morons?
That is some immense funding and it seems they believe the Russians can be pushed out entirely. It has backfired to a remarkable extent for Vlad.
He has achieved almost the opposite of his initial goals. Basically will have a well backed US/EU country on Russias door step with Russians living in the stone age.
I reckon Ukraine will be a good place to snap up some investments. The rebuild across the country will be huge with the support they are recieving.
It does once the person driving the tank realises they are not going to be paid.
The motivation of the Ukrainian forces isn't their paycheck, the Russians are not fighting for their survival though so money will be a bigger factor.
I honestly believe that if the war continues to go badly he won't be around to feel trapped and humiliated. There are already schisms appearing between the military, intelligence and even the president so the longer the negative pressure is applied the bigger chance that action will be taken.
Everyone knows that if the RuSSians cross the nuclear threshold all bets are off.
I suggest there are battle plans drawn up for that particular scenario, just as somewhere in the Curragh there are battle plans for occupying Northern Ireland or raiding Liverpool. Will never be implemented but one doesn't want to be caught without a plan when the unexpected does happen.. I suspect even CAnada has a plan for a pre-emptive strike against the US on file too
If that's true, it's a ringing endorsement of Ukraine's chances. They wouldn't be pouring that kind of coin in unless they fancied getting a seriously good result, and U.S. intelligence has been pretty good so far.
33 billion being looked for Ukraine by Uncle Joe
that is half of the Russians annual Budget they are calling vlads bluff
Same should happen here May 9th. We should have a "National Bring a rock to work day"
